Its solid. The original NES/Famicom game is a little archaic at this point and very grindy even by FF standards, but the soundtrack slaps, the job system is fun, and its 1000x better than the misery that is 2. 2 is the only game in the series I actively disliked. 3 was kind of meh. There were too many forced mini/frog segments (in the 3ds version anyway, never played the original). --- We all ate the biscuits, Fighter. We can all see through time. [ER] ... Copied to Clipboard!

It was... Okay. I wouldn't call any of the NES FF games good games by today's standards, but it's not bad either. It's sorta just there. I'd call it about equal with FF1? Honestly, I feel like 4 was where FF started to become a good series ... Copied to Clipboard!

I liked a lot of things about it but the version I played had a lot of instances where just random mobs required specific strategies, which made everything feel like a miniboss fight almost and it became kinda tiring. --- "I still have a tattoo to get, that says I'm living in the moment." ...
