I give hogan a pass cause as far as I know the racist shit he said was long ago and I'm pretty sure most if not all white men his age have said something racist in their life. He just is famous so it got brought to attention

Yeah welcome to literally every person who was discovered to be some kind of bigot.

Depending on how beloved the person was prior there will always be those who just find more comfort in refusing to address that and forcing themselves to just focus on "the good times".

I think it's a bit more complicated than that because there are trans people playing Hogwarts Legacy along with many people who identify as allies
Some people don't think boycotts work. Some people separate art from artist. Some people are unconvinced that buying the game adds to transphobia.
I could go on. It's similar to how there are gay people who eat Chick-fil-A and don't feel bad about it.

That's not really true, considering wrestling fans as a whole have sort of turned on Hogan for years now, and even him going out of his way to apologize multiple times and otherwise kind of bury it under the rug hasn't stopped him from getting booed at most shows he appears at in the US.
