But hey, living people might have inherent biases that would compel them to not neutrally take all souls to the Arbiter to be judged. How do we solve that problem? Well, we strip them of all individuality and have them completely forget their mortal lives, of course. The "bad guys" in this storyline are the Forsworn, Kyrians who thought that maybe that was bullshit.
