Maybe I'm off here but the stuff with Dehya feels weirdly personal on MHY's end.

I cant help but feel the same way. Honestly, Im a lot more pissed off about this than I should be. Wanted to hope that there was something the beta testers were missing, but clearly Hoyo was going to fuck this character from the word go.

I'd go for Shenhe. Ayaka's C1 doesnt do much for her own DPS and some people use her as a sub DPS, which her C1 doesn't contribute to at all.

Right? Which makes no sense when you also consider how unique her design is, I consider it arguably one of the best, and how prominent and badass she was in the main story from start to finish. The ball drop on the kit is so... weird lol. Some are theorizing they couldn't figure out how to make her weird kit viable and the move to standard is a recent decision due to that, but who knows.

If they put her on the Standard because they couldnt get her kit to work, I would still say thats a very thin rationale. They have plenty of experience with main DPS pyro units and should have enough skill in their dev team to make her work. Which leads me right back to China doesnt like her because reasons so fuck making the character good.

My interest in future characters for this game is at an all-time low. At this point, I maybe pull Zhongli but I give zero fucks about Fontaine characters at this point because who knows what theyll do next?

Yeah, I'm skipping Yelan and Dehya to go for Ayaka (and potentially her weapon). Alternate dash Vergil is too cool to ignore.

Though speaking of which, do we have enough characters to make a weeb media references team yet? Off the top of my head I can only think of three characters: Ningguang, Fischl and Ayaka

I'm seeing rumors that every patch for the remainder of Sumeru will be adding a 5* to the standard banner, giving us a total of 9 by the time Fontaine releases.

If this is true, then probably we will be getting something like a standard banner 5 star selector and there is also a decent chance they will add some way to get it from Paimon's Bargains (like maybe one per month, for 125 Starglitter or something).

Im thinking of trying to pull for weapons myself. Getting tired of having Keqing, Ayaka, Ayato, and Al all sharing that 1 PJS I got lucky on.

I hated that! I just finally finished those the other day, myself. Though I think rng was kinder to me, took about two weeks. Hopefully you're free soon.

I love the desert exploration. ;_; Though I agree we desperately need underground maps. At least the new area wasn't bad in that regard.

I loved the first part of desert exploration with all the ruins and such. High point of the game so far for me. Haven't delved toouch into the second part yet though, and I definitely agree that there should be better underground maps for those that want them.

Also, both Tsarevich and Viktor commission chains/trophies done. Just need to do the Glory chain a couple more times and I'm done with Mondstadt entirety.

Underground maps aside, Im getting real sick of Look at all this exploration shit you cant do because you havent done the unedited Lord of the Rings length sidequest.

That and the garbage untracked unmarked quests that need to burn in hell.

The desert exploration has been great but I do feel pretty done with it all. Went back to Inazuma for my commissions and the scenery was such a breath of fresh air.

Yeah lol. If it helps, from what I remember, 3.6 has an oasis area. So it's not totally all bleak sandiness I guess.

One of the leaks did claim 3.6 is a small Liyue extension. Others claimed it's both Sumeru and Liyue, which to me sounds like wishful thinking.

It's still a mystery right now. But it should be either Chenyu Vale or the final part of Desert north of the whirlwind.
We'll know for sure very soon.

I don't think it's been ever formally discussed, but personally I usually spoiler everything except character kit leaks.

If it's story plot related, absolutely spoiler tag it. If it's about new characters or game mechanics, that's more of a grey area but I personally do it as a courtesy unless I'm responding in a topic where it's already been spoiled.

Finally got around to doing abyss this reset and I don't think I realized how busy floor 12-3-2 gets on the last wave. Not sure what team I used the first time but they really like swarming with enemies now

I find it curious that so many people create alts to post on the genshin board. Especially recently. I mean, they're not talking about life-changing socio-political events that might be highly controversial. They're talking about fucking waifus. And I get that it's srs business to some, but give me a break! lol

i saw a topic recently where a guy was like "i made a new genshin account because i'm tired of chasing meta, but i don't know what characters to pull for and play as now. how do i play as a non-meta player?"

genuinely think that person has never heard of the word 'fun' in their life.

There's an awful lot of "brand new" accounts posting there out of nowhere. There was a big influx right after the "Dehya is going to standard banner" news dropped. Also, a lot of older accounts with zero posting history "decided" to chime in.

It's pretty standard "gamefaqs alt" activity.

I guess it's people who would feel embarrassed talking about playing a gacha? I don't know lol. I used to be pretty wary of mentioning I enjoyed Rick & Morty during S1 & 2 so I guess I kind of get it.
