Go for something modern that can do anything you might ever need it to.

An M4 with a nice ACOG and backup iron sights. Flashlight and grips (maybe a bipod).

Or since it is a fantasy world, an HCAR with the above. Ask for M2 Black Tip ammo for it. AP ammo will probably take on magical properties in a fantasy world and do extra damage to armored targets or something.

Have you seen any of the current isekai anime trends lately? It's pretty common for somebody to either die of some illness or get hit by truck-kun and end up being sent to another world by some unnamed, compassionate deity who gives them some kind of magical super-tool that makes them overpowered.

If you're writing a story about modern weapons my advice would be to make up your own that follows the naming conventions of the current ones, for two reasons.

One: as we saw in PS Products vs Activision Blizzard the court case got quite far before someone pointed out they looked nothing alike: http://patentarcade.com/2014/02/ps-products-v-activision-blizzard.html -- how far it would have got if it looked exactly the same and was named the same? We haven't found out, and I wouldn't want to be the author to find out.

Two: You can hand wave inconsistencies a lot easier -- Is the gun you're writing about, impossible to reload left-handed, for example? Or, if you fire that rifle one-handed at that angle, would it break your wrist?
You don't need to know that, if you make your own gun up.

Have a bunch of different effect bullets that cause no damage, only a status effects Sleep. Paralyze. Bewitch. Berserk. Sniper (requires concentration, time, clear line of sight, etc but gets 100% hit when done completely.

Something versatile like an m4, decked out with all the accessories

Enchantments would be:
unlimited accessories of any kind
Unlimited ammo of any kind
Quip swap between both
Hot mod, mod the gun in any way regardless of if would make sense
Quick fix, repair any damage to the gun or any part
Zero recoil
Aimless, always be able to tell how to make the best shot/s
Gun sense, always know the best way to use the gun and what mods would work best

It might be a bit broken to start off so you could add them over time if necessary
