do you wash?

My mom always used to wash bananas before unpeeling them, I picked up the habit and have been told it's weird. She also used to wash eggs and drink cans. I dont wash soda/beer cans unless theyve been sitting out for awhile collecting dust on the top. Though usually I keep them in the box/case until theres only a few left and those get drank in short enough time that I wouldnt need to clean them.
