I do this a lot. Its fascinating and a little depressing seeing whats changed since the street view cars first started driving through in 2007 - on desktop you can scroll through the years in areas where theyve driven through multiple times.

Such simple times. Hardly any responsibilities, my childhood home wasnt sold yet, my dogs were still alive, social media hadnt fully exploded yet so everyones craziness was still a bit below the surface

Time travel may not be possible but damn itd be cool to occasionally go back and relive memories like watching a movie in FPS mode

I just checked out my first childhood home. The immediate area has barely changed in almost 25 years.

Ive done it before. Not much has changed right where I lived, but the area a bit further out has. Further out than that, its kinda sad to see the McD Play Place disappear and the store become the cube husk it is now

I do here and there. It's crazy how much it changed since my childhood.

I still do but I'm in a completely different area then where I grew up, so I guess more specifically I explore my old neighborhood and areas I used to hang out

I'm not far from the neighborhood I grew up in and often bike past it and my old house which is kind of a weird feeling. I've lived in a different city in this state and a couple other states as well but just found myself half a mile or so away from the house I grew up in.

Same, I still visit it every once in awhile, but it's one of the few things I do when I'm bored lol.

Street view still has my old buick in front of my house.

Not necessarily my hometown but various places Ive lived, yes. I check Redfin too, sometimes.

I had this experience somewhat while flying around my city in MS Flight Sim. All the maps are just a mish-mash of different satellite imagery, so you see stuff that doesn't exist anymore, stuff that 's under construction even though the construction was completed years ago, empty lots where something exists now, etc.

I live close enough where I visit fairly often. I do like looking at other places I've lived like college and my other apartments here in the city

I do once in a blue moon. Ive even driven through once or twice.
