Never said this. Just said that yelling at him about it doesn't have any chance of stopping him, so it's not really a productive use of time to tell him to stop. I don't think he's going to stop any time soon, unless he decides on his own that he wants to stop. My point is that the only thing that a person can accomplish by telling somebody to shut the fuck up (especially a comedian) is to inspire them to talk even more.

Your attitude of "spreading the word doesn't work immediately, which means it'll never work so why try" is inspiring to say the least, but think of it this way: if our complaints and discussions won't stop the rich bigoted person, what chance do you have to stop us from complaining? You're essentially doing the same thing: trying to convince someone to stop what they're doing by complaining.

This person gets it. You can hate her for what she's doing, but she isn't doing this for money or attention for Hogwarts Legacy. She is doing it because she genuinely believes she's protecting women from persecution and protecting women's rights. So her comparison in the first post is one that to her feels genuine. She truly believes that is an equivalence because she sees herself as somebody standing up for feminism
