I was thinking that too mods are likely done for. You can just have AI be the judge, jury, and executioner.

chat gpt says:

data entry and data processing jobs
telemarketing and sales
customer service and support
bookkeeping / accounting
assembly line jobs in manufacturing
jobs in repetitive manual tasks
jobs in finance and accounting that involve rote calculation and data analysis
repetitive manual tasks in agriculture and mining

it is important to not that while certain jobs may be affected, AI is also creating new job opportunitiers, expecially in fields such as data science, AI, development and technology management.

I then asked chatgpt if it was 100% sure it wasn't going to kill us all Matrix or terminator style and it said:

As an AI language model, I don't have feelings or emotions, and I can't guarantee anything with 100% certainty. However, based on current knowledge and understanding of AI technology, it is highly unlikely that AI will become a threat to humanity in the manner depicted in science fiction movies. The development and deployment of AI is guided by ethical and safety considerations, and there are numerous checks and balances in place to ensure that AI is used for the betterment of society and does not cause harm. Nevertheless, the future is uncertain and it is important to remain vigilant and proactively address any potential negative consequences of AI development.

so we are all done for anyway

Any job where the underlying information doesn't need to be truthful or original, and neither of those qualities need to be checked.

So probably none, really.

AI will eventually wreak havoc on all sorts of white collar professions. Sure, an AI wont represent defendants in murder trials, or manage the finances of Fortune 500 companies anytime soon, but the rote work that makes up the majority of what most lawyers and accountants do will soon be done much cheaper and just as well(in many cases better) than they can.

This is what Capital owners always wanted. They always wanted the "middle class" to disappear as it makes owning everything so much easier.
Tbh middle class was always a misnomer to divide and cause poorer and somewhat better off working class people to fight each other.

There really is only owner class and working class.

Question is will people keep bootlicking?

Anything that requires critical thinking on the job and physical intervention at times (IT admins, engineers, etc.) are safe on the white collar side.

Same with accounting / anyone who deals with vendors and contracts and negotiating with people.

Not to derail your anti capital screed, but what I am mostly talking about work done for regular people, such as filing simple tax returns, and managing the finances of the 99%.

Younger zoomers and gen alpha are considerably less tech literate than the average boomer. Even with training I can't expect a new generation to comprehend any of that shit. They can't even work file explorers or attach files to emails.

I believe you are falling into the same trap that futurists in the 1950s fell into. Someone famously said something along the lines of in 30 years computers will perform a thousand operations per minute and be small enough to fit in a single room! You are vastly underestimating how fast the technology will evolve.

They were wrong though. Computers can do thousands of operations per second.
