A lot has happened in the last 24 hours. Just when the war had seemed lost, a band of heroes marched all the way into Origin Headquarters, bypassing all of the guards. In the innermost sanctum they found a frail, sickly old man.

Sbell: *cough* Dont hurt me, I mean you no harm. *cough* I wish only to feed on your souls and live forever.

Hero #1: Friends, I dont think we can trust this guy.
Hero #2: Yeah I have a feeling this could be Z himself, the leader of Moebius.
Peaf: I am in agreement.
Hero #1: Thats odd. Why are you the only one of us specifically named when the rest of us have generic names?
Peaf: Hmm, I have no idea. But Im sure it means nothing.

The conversation is interrupted by a cough.

Sbell: *coughs* Oh man. Sorry guys, Im like really sick. I think Im gonna go catch some Zs.
Peaf: NO. The only ones who are gonna be catching Z today, is us!!!
Hero #3: Damn, that was a good line. I really like this Peaf guy. Would be a shame if something happened to him.

The Heroes initiated a chain attack, in which each of them took turns beating on Zs ass. Approximately 3 hours later, when they finished the chain attack, Z was dead. He was dead after the first hit, but someone in the group really wanted to max out the overkill gauge.

Sbell HAS DIED. He was Z, CULT Recruiter

Poor Z. He just wanted to live in The Endless Now, but was permanently stuck in the past. Specifically, topic 2 of day 1.

Hero #1: We did it!!! We defeated the big bad!
Hero #2: But there are still remnants of Moebius out there. The war is not yet over.
Hero #1: Oh no! Peaf! Are you hurt?!
Peaf: *coughs* Sorry guys, I think all this close proximity to Z made me catch that sickness he had. *coughs* Just when I thought it was safe to go outside *collapses*
Hero #2: Quick! Rush him to the transport ship! Have the medics look at him.

Luckily, Peaf was delivered to the transport ship in time, and the doctors were able to administer him.

Peaf: Yipee! I think Im gonna live.

Unfortunately, the transport ship would later have a malfunction when trying to land and have to crash land in the ocean. All of the passengers survived. Except one.

Peaf HAS DIED

He was Ouroboros, TOWN Hydraizer

You are the name given to our main party who fight against Moebius. Like Moebius, they have the ability to fuse two members into one stronger gundam type warrior. In this way they are like the anti-Moebius. Or maybe Moebius are the anti-Ouroborous. Either way, use this power to fight against the enemy with their own tactics. Whether you choose to protect someone from Moebius' influence or go offensive on the enemy, is up to you.

Ability: Each night, select a person to protect. If your target dies the night you are protecting them, instead of flipping they will FUSE with your player slot. Their slot will be removed from the game, but they will now be Hydra'ing your slot. They are allowed to talk as long as you are alive, and you share one vote. The targeted player's alignment does not change, and they can not be targeted directly as they are no longer in the player list. Once fused, you cannot use this ability again. When you die, both you and your targets' role PM will flip.

You win when all threats to TOWN are eliminated

Because you know damn well by now that Han and I were pretty much right about everything (except for Death, but that ended up working out positively for town anyway).

Cult = scum = Moebius? Check.
JC not cult leader, no reason to even consider it? Check.
Primary suspicion on Death & Sbell? 1 for 2, but that's pretty good.

from my perspective, the Top 2 cult recruits on N1 we ought to consider are Lopen and Red, for certain. Who were coincidentally (or perhaps not so coincidentally) the two people most heavily shooting down the Cult = Scum = Moebius theory yesterday.

seeing that peaf died and not death i can only assume that scum has some kind of day rolecop or something. sultan and peaf are not exactly what I would expect from n1 and n2 kills without knowledge of their roles

I picked Han instead because I like a Han I can trust, and last night made me start to worry about him and how he tried to work his way towards lynching me. I didnt feel safe!

And Chang, I appreciate the gusto, but reading Peaf's role, I'm not confident the Neighborizer is Town. Peaf's role is interlinking with someone, which is what I thought the Neighborizing was supposed to be.

I don't think that's the case, he said his scan failed which is very different from being RB'd, in conjunction with it not happening again last night.

I haven't really done a full analysis of the lynch yet, so I'll take a closer look in a second. But just want to say I was not a fan of Red trying to throw suspicion at my vote when I'm pretty sure at the time of my vote I was moving a 3-3 SBell/Corrik vote into SBell's direction, and I had SBell listed as a suspect the entire day. Then Red only votes for SBell at the very end once all other votes were moved. Was that a weak attempt at trying to discredit the SBell lynch?

Day 1, Red told SBell that he'd dayvig him given the choice. Day 2, Red seemed different and seemed pretty content to sit in the shadows instead of joining me when I was voting SBell. I think I was right about Red being recruited.

In fact, Red said that what, Plum should die for being defeatist (might be making that up) and was on Corrik for how he returned to the game?

I think neighborizer is usually about trying to get claim info in a safe place. So if scum get to read or participate in that, they could potentially role fish "safely" for night kills. I don't have a ton of mafia experience out of B8, but I feel like I've only ever seen Town Neighborizer before. I'm just kind of believing you guys about previous scum neighbor experience here. IMO I still think the neighboring was a town thing.

Well, that wasnt what I expected. I missed EoD because I fell asleep. I know thats weak but its true. I was also miles of on my reads so maybe I should do a complete 180 and suspect Dumey and Lopen.

do we assume SBell had a night zero action? Otherwise if he was the only scum role and he got lynched day 1 itd be insta win. Or is there more than 1 recruiter?

Oh I was expecting posts to come back to after I reevaluated the lynch.

In Red's credit, he did try to start both an Ulti and Corrik train pre-Death claim because he didn't like Death or Han trains. I did the same but I tried to start a train on Peaf (oops)
Corrik and JC were the ones who called for a claim from Death.
Corrik votes SBell.
Changmas immediately unvotes Death and goes onto SBell despite having suspicion of Death the entire day. And with absolutely no text or explanation with it. Just a cold vote.
Peaf and Dumey vote essentially at the same time to put SBell ahead of Corrik in vote totals.
Death unvotes Corrik and doesn't immediately vote anyone else. (This reads to me that he apparently feels safe enough at this point to not need to vote the other train.)
Corrik unvotes SBell to vote Ulti (joke because he's confident in SBell getting lynched without his help?)
Death still feels confident enough to vote for IGCD for record keeping purposes and then unvotes again.
Han revotes SBell late.
HB and Red vote SBell at the very end.

I think Chang, HB and Red look the worst just from evaluating the lynch on its own. I'm confused about Corrik's unvote because in my eyes the lynch was still in a steal-able state at that point.

As far as other votes go. 5tar and Death were the only votes not present. 5tar missed deadline and Death's votes explained above.

Lopen never moved his vote off Han. Lopen's last post was in Topic 2-2 Page 9. Walked away in the last hour and missed deadline?

Ulti's vote was still on Corrik. Ulti's last post was in Topic 2-3 Page 1 saying JC should die D4 if he doesn't die automatically. Did not post a single time post-Death claim.

IGCD was voting death and missed deadline entirely. Last posted Topic 2-2 on Page 2.

I'll join Han in pressuring Red for now.

Chang did pressure SBell earlier in the day though when he felt the game was stalling. I initially wrote it off as pressure because SBell highlighted him. I doubt with a potentially small team they go after each other with so many other targets being floated around

I just think going from Death who you had also been suspecting the entire day and immediately believing his claim and swapping your vote with zero hesitation before others could is a bit suspicious. It's so fast on the trigger that it looks weird.
