You drive around a massive map and enter in tournaments, complete challenges, go off jumps, play multiplayer games. Put cool stuff on your car and they have a battle royale type game, that takes up the entire map, and feels like Fortnite only with cars. also theres story missions and fun exploration missions that teach you about the real life surroundings and cultures (each game takes place in a different part of the world. Skyrim is mediocre but okay for killing time, and it works well as "Baby's First RPG" for a generation born too late for FFVII. Which basically just leaves GTAV the winner on that list entirely by default (though it is very good in its own right). Though not on the list, I also really liked Far Cry 5. I grew up in mountain country like that and they did an impeccable job conveying the mood.
