You get chosen by SBAllen for a single terrible purpose, you must save GameFAQs.

To mark this mission as completed, GameFAQs traffic must increase between x30 to x50. This means that the number in Board Information, which right now shows 1266 registered users must show between 37980 and 63300 in a consistent basis.

You are free to change whatever you want with GameFAQs to accomplish this, so long as the site continues to host a database of video game information, cheat codes, reviews, game saves, box art images, and screenshots.

Should you complete this mission, you get an undetermined amount of money, a big amount. What would you change?

Most of the above plus

~ Allow users to post short form videos and aggressively market and monetize them
~ Actually monitor moderations fairly so quality posters dont need to leave; make moderators identify themselves and make markers do the same I swear that alone would make the site so much better and it kinda used to be like that consequences and push back for behaviors on both sides
~ Moderators could still have great sway by adding a best post of the day highlight to drive conversation plus increase user engagement
~ Maybe overall realize alienating either side of the aisle is stupid and only results in half the engagement overall STAY NEUTRAL and let users sus things out

Heavily advertise the site and boards across the internet.

Cut some kind of deal with some popular games to be the "official" discussion place for the games.

Add a "LFG" element to games. Users make a special profile on the boards that list game tags, region and time they usually play at to quickly find parties.

  • Remove entire current mod staff.
  • Assign myself sole lead moderator.
  • Unsuspend all accounts.
  • Everyone gets 1 banned account back.
  • Complete overhaul of existing moderation system.
  • Transparency in the mod system.
  • Include users in future changes to forum and site updates/changes.

Im immediately selling sex. And since Im not experienced in social businesses, my ability to make sure no one is hurt is limited and I get a lot of people into bad situations just by being incompetent. I cash out and live on an island where I try to be happy but ultimately am too haunted by what came of my decisions. I do all the drugs and one day someone finds my body when it floats to a shore somewhere. Is Wikipedia begging for money now? I definitely agree, I just don't think anything is in place to make that not insanely difficult. Everything is set up to support capitalism. If you don't completely bring down the majority of it, you'll be suffocated immediately when trying to do anything different. For our lifetime at least, we're definitely stuck in this. We have to go to the extreme until everything breaks to get any change at this point. We're headed there, but who knows how long they can stretch it. Plus, it also chances complete extinction rather than opens the ability to build something better from the bottom. Im not sure how much fight society even has in it anymore. We've all been pretty beaten down and convinced to put our values in the dumbest shit. Or maybe Im projecting and there's still many out there who can save us once we overwhelm the way things are now and it bursts. Uh. The end?
