One hour in and having an absolute blast

The art style and animation looks extremely good. And it's by the Evil Within devs, interesting.

It is so fun I'm going nuts lol and the story is really funny

Looks like the gameplay is a bit outdated though? How is it? A lot of it reminds me of Sunset Overdrive.

But I don't feel like a lot of the animations are as smooth and modern

Yea I love the artwork actually. I think more games should go for more style than photo realism.

I guess the gameplay just seemed a bit janky to me? But I may feel differently once I play. I'll definitely check it out on game pass.

How much is it without gamepass?

I played 40 minutes and had fun. I suck at rythm anything so I am playing on easy and I'm not even gonna attempt to worry about pulling off perfect combos. I will most likely stick with it till I beat it. It visually looks and runs great.

The reveal gave me some weird vibes that were a combination of Scott Pilgrim + No More Heroes + Crypt of the Necrodancer and... I'm kind of all in.

Yeah, an emphasis on rhythm instead of just making a game people can play without a shit gimmick is indeed weak.

I love how the trailer is mostly just showing off the gameplay with just a bit of the characters and story. Thats usually the sign of a great game

Is this on game pass? If not, I'm buying it. Been looking for something like Sunset Overdrive since I played it, this looks good.

I played up until getting to the hideout for the first time. Definitely gonna play more, this game is great. But so far there has been too little combat and too much platforming for my taste. I wish it was more combat heavy since thats by far the best part of the game so far.

Saw something about the game that I thought was brilliant.

im blown away, never would have given this game a chance without game pass. What a delight!

Played the first chapter and yeah this is great. Seems on track to be the best Tango game.

It's neat how much this game just feels like a labour of love. Everything from the style, the music and the little touches like how Chai clicks his finger to match the beat when idle. One of those games that's very confident with its design.
