Don't get me wrong, it's not incredible or groundbreaking. It's a solid Dreamworks script with a fresh coat of paint. But god damn is that a nice coat of paint to look at, animation-wise. You can tell that they learned the lesson Spider-Verse was trying to teach. And I'm ok with it being derivative if these are the results! Can't believe a Shrek spin-off is out here eating Disney and Pixar's lunch. I'm probably way late to the party on this...I should really get around to watching The Bad Guys, huh. --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ... I haven't seen Inu-Oh but I'll look into it.
