Yeah, maybe. Maybe I'm just used to teams almost always taking the yards.

I have to say, that was a perplexing end of the half in terms of clock management. Why didn't the Vikings take some timeouts and try to get the ball back?

Giants played about as well as I've seen them play all year but they're "only" up 3. Have to feel like it's going to get worse in the second half. It'll be important that they come out and at least get a few first downs with that opening drive.

This is true in college, but NFL owners are worth so much these days that it wouldn't matter. We're going to see the market for good coaches hit 25+ million per year in our lifetimes. We already have QBs making absurd cash now. Brian Daboll is showing the league how important coaching actually is.

The Vikings two failed drives were on a failed trick play and a dropped pass. It's really not the Giants who stopped them at all

Giants with the ball in a tied game with around 2-4 minutes left feels like best case but it's not a bad place to be.

And? They're powerless against the owners 99% of the time, or Snyder would have been forced to sell by now and Watson would have never gotten that contract from the Browns.

That first down play has consistently not worked for the Vikings yet they still run it
