anyway, my current favorite games are probably The Last of Us Part II and Bloodborne (1a & 1b type of situation), and my least favorite parts are:

• TLoU2 - the Santa Barbara section. I don't mean the story related to it, but I just don't like its aesthetics, and the enemies there are pretty lame.
• Bloodborne - the Nightmare Frontier, after you step out of the one academy.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door - "Searching" for and waking up General White to fire the cannon. His later Quest is shorter, but still fuck him all together.

Viewtiful Joe - Raging Stone Hulk Davidson and Raging Stone Gran Bruce
I don't mind Charles III and Another Joe because you can melt Charles III really fast and Another Joe is a very active fight, but Hulk and Bruce really start veering toward too-much-health-and-not-enough-making-depleting-it-exciting territory. It gets very tempting to start throwing Voomerangs.

DMC3 - Geryon. I hate this boss.

Dark Souls 1 - Lost Izalith and Gwyn. I don't care much about doing NG+ anymore. I usually just get 3 lord souls, go to Oolacile and pretend Manus/Kalameet is the end of the game.

Fallout New Vegas - Unskippable narration upon entering and exiting DLCs. Old World Blues is awesome but christ they're really gonna recite the fate of every kitchen utensil and remote building every time.

Anything I have to repeat for any reason whatsoever.

Dragon Age- Fade/Deep Roads

Towards the end of Metal Gear Solid 3 where you have to escort EVA through the jungle.

Metroid Prime 1 - Having to go back to collect the things in order to get to Meta-Ridley + the last section of the game.

Super Metroid - Maridia

Morrowind - Anywhere there are Cliff Racers since they seem to multiply when you get into a fight with 1.

Fallout New Vegas - The trek to the Great Khans all because of the cazadores.

Breath of Fire 3 - Desert of Death. Fuck that blemish on an otherwise perfect game.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - That ghost river. Yeah it's fine if you don't kill anyone, but once you've beaten the game several times, unlocked the over-powered goodies, and just feel like dicking around, that body kount kan get way too high. Though that might just be me... >_>

MGSV - That one mission. You know the one. The one with the face only a Garioshi kould love.

That's funny, I was going to say Twilight Town. It's an entire level where you run back and forth the same forest that's fully of difficult/annoying enemies and you lose access to all of your partners halfway through.

I dislike that as well, but my least favorite section is the sand whirlpool section in Lands End. It isn't to bad, but it can get annoying at times.

FFIX - The sneaking minigame in the Desert Palace.

I also think *heavy spoilers* Tommy deserved a redemption arc. the way we leave him was at the worst we see him in the franchise - crippled, separated from his wife, and pressuring a teen girl to travel more than a 1000 miles to kill someone, without her knowing what to expect
