ViewtifulJoe 01/12/23 1:25:39 PM #8:	Escape more than challenge nowadays. For the longest time the challenge was the escape. I wanted to see how far I could push it. Then after a while it plateaued and games suddenly started feeling very shallow and samey. I think DMC5 was the bridge too far, I am on the absolute precipice of describing it as disappointing. Now I kinda don't care anymore and just want something to get stuck into for long periods of time and think about a lot. Unless it's an MMO, because those really are life devouring vortexes.
