I've already been sick for a few days now (3 or 4) but now I suddenly can't taste anything. My nose isn't stuffy or anything else that would cause a loss of taste, but I feel like it would be odd to suddenly develop a loss of taste?

Yeah you can develop new symptoms days into having covid. If you've had it within 5 days you can get the new covid treatment medication which is supposed to help. A quick visit to Urgent Care will get you started on that tomorrow. I was able to do a telehealth visit and get a script same day.
