I should provide an update: they've agreed to cancel my application and consequently my lease. I'm no longer able to view my housing documents online, which I take as an indicator that my lease has been voided. I have asked for documentation that explicitly states that I am no longer bound to that lease I have signed prematurely. But they have told me that an e-mail confirmation is enough should I run into any legal issues. For the time being, I am taking their word on it. --- Number VI: Larxene.
