You need to remove the other girl from this equation for a minute cause all that is is possible grass is always greener thoughts. You're current situation is that you are dating a girl and you are having problems with her personality. That's all that comes into play right now.

Have you discussed these issues with her? Is she willing to work on them? Can you live with them? If no to the last two questions then you need to cut her loose. We're too old to waste time staying with people cause we don't wanna break up with them and make them feel bad. What's not fair to her is to waste her time by staying with her if you aren't completely into it. Stay with her, work on the issues yall have, and be happy or breakup and become single Canuck. Single Cancunk can then figure out this younger girl.

Well, getting 2 dogs in April its sounding like. Wifes mother in laws mom is being put in a home, they are driving to TX to help move her and we are gonna take her dogs unless something comes up between now and then. I think it's a Scottish terrier and the other is a mini poodle. Not thrilled about having a poodle but at least they are intelligent and both dogs are well trained.

Not a fan of Poodles. Never met one I got along with.

Thanks. That's a good way of seeing it. It is two separate things. Well actually it was two separate things.

She gets anxiety and panic attacks about winter driving and so ive driven her days where its really foggy or snow is on the roads. Well usually I do, often she refuses to let me help cause she "doesn't wanna ruin my day." I have to beg to get her to let me help. But last Saturday I was at a hockey game with my friends and she messaged saying it was supposed to snow and she's scared about driving in. So I said hey ill be home tonight I can drive you just message me in the morning. Which was unacceptable. Also I forgot to let her know id gotten home safely which was even worse apparently.

So Sunday she left work early and stopped by unannounced screaming at me and when I didn't grovel enough she ended shit. Oh yeah and also Sunday I had a nap so I didn't answer her texts for 2 hours so that was another thing.

Either way I really don't feel it was worth ending things over but I guess she did so now the last two she's been crying and insulting me and making it clear she thinks I'm a piece of shit over it. So that ended abruptly.

As for counseling ive tried to get her to go that route and bring up maybe seeing someone about anti depressant quite a few times. 99% of the time she blew up at me for suggesting it and said "this is who I am" and telling me I'm insulting her by bringing it up. A couple months back she actually made an appointment with a counselor. I don't think she gave it a real chance and when I suggested finding another one or seeing a different doctor or even making an appointment with a psychiatrist she went back to the "this is who I am" routine. I had high hopes when she actually made that counseling appointment but it went nowhere fast and the same cycle repeated.

I'm actually amazed how much I'm hurting right now but in the long run its for the best for both of us.

I'm fucked in the head too though. Since the other girl dumped her bf ive been unable to stop questioning who I should he with and now i just feel too shitty to even care about being with anyone.

On a totally unrelated note I got attacked by a fucking buck today after work. Never ran so fast in my life. If I hadn't weaved through traffic it would have stomped the shit out of me. So there's that.

Yeah I'm done with her. Just feels bad either way. Especially cause she can be so angry and unreasonable then switch to so sad and unreasonable on a dime. She just came by for some of her stuff and went from laying into me to crying so hard she puked. I hate seeing her cry like that but I mean... really I just wish she'd get some help. I'm not doing this anymore. The good times were so good the bad times were the absolute worst.

Plus I should probly mention that it was always supposed to be casual for the first loke 5 6 months. Hell I was seeing someone else the first 3 or 4 and she knew that. Less than a month ago we became exclusive and it was perfect until last saturday.

Bucks fine. it just got scared by the cars and fucked off.

I feel like showing up all fuck you your trash and then jump cutting to tears and sobs and vomiting is kinda maybe an indication of, you know, something that needs professional help. But also she has never been willing to accept that she needs that so I cant do a thing for her and even when it was casual it was a nightmare every two weeks or so.

I already spent too much time completely bowing to her every thought and emotion anytime she got emotional. If I could help her in any way I would but obviously she can't accept that she needs help.

Incredible person when she's not letting her emotional issues and anxiety just turn her into something else entirely.

I actually burst out laughing when my ex said "OHHH I CRIED FOR TWO DAYS STRAIGHT" I'm like "Ok is that all it took and you're already fucking a coworker the next day?" Is right about there when her volume levels went through the roof even though we were out doors.

She just ultimately had more bad than good and it was and easy decision to make. I still to this day never shed a tear over her because of the person I finally saw her for.

I get that. Her ex is an abusive manchild emotional train wreck alcoholic piece of shit and if one good thing came from this its that if he ever shows up outside my house again I can give him the beating he deserves for what he did to her and for what he's pulled with me as a bonus.

Only reason I didn't before was her. That dude pulled up and parked outside my place twice and just hung out for hours. The one time I had to go out and he was there he started screaming inches from my face and the only reason I didn't do anything is for her sake. Now that's not an issue. Dude is 6 inches taller than me and weighs like 120lbs. And any time he gets violent its only cause he's basically falling down drunk. Broke into her house once when I was there and it was the one and only time in my life I called the cops. All cause of her. I had other ideas how to deal with him but she wouldn't have it.
