In for Chicory, and probably Space Funeral. Black Mesa is great - but I think I prefer Half-Life over it. --- https://backloggery.com/zayakza ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'm interested in Chicory, but not sure if I'm interested enough to buy it. Probably can't run Black Mesa, and I don't really want to replay Space Funeral. --- Our eyes were removed For our own safety ... Copied to Clipboard!

Mr_Crispy posted... I've been working on episode 4 of Pixeljunk Shooter (despite hating it because of all the big euro shooter energy it's got going on barf). Just wanted to come back and confirm you can beat the Vita version of that level without using shields. I think you're talking about the third area of the last level of episode 4 (puzzle area with the eater ship and rocks that fall on you). You don't need a shield at all. Just use both sticks at the same time to get extra speed and you should be able to avoid all the rocks easily. I'm actually curious what is different in the PS4 version because I imagine the levels should be the same in both. --- Moops? "I thought you were making up diseases? Just finished chapter 5 of PixelJunk Ultimate. I should be able to wrap things up within the next two days as long as there isn't a huge difficulty jump. Overall, I'm definitely enjoying the game. Good job whoever nominated it because it gave me a reason to finally check this out! Couple of minor issues: 1) Not a fan of using diamonds to track progress, as mentioned already 2) The game does have a really bad habit of just giving you the finger and killing you sometimes on your first playthrough. It really punishes trying to move anything but extremely cautiously, and there are a couple of levels here that just dump a stream of lava in your face and laughing as you have to start over. Or you'll take a path you previously cleared and SURPRISE instant death enemy out of nowhere. The levels are short enough, but I thought this was poor design. 3) No auto-fire button? In a shooter? BLASPHEMY 4) The first two worlds are super boring. Things pick up a lot for me after 3 and I've been enjoying the game substantially more ever since, but it was definitely a slow ramp up for me 5) It's kinda dumb how you have to play a whole level again if you want to get back to one specific part. For example, in one I miss a secret area where the special scientist was hiding. I go back and find it, clear the stage, but now I've forgotten to check out a second hidden area because I already got all the diamonds. So I have to play it a third time, all the way thorugh, popping into the three hidden areas I've already found in one go. I get they do this for leaderboard purposes, but it makes going through a second time if you missed one single hidden item a huge drag. Still - overall definitely a good game. I'm looking forward to the final chapter and it has been good enough to motivate me to check out the other PixelJunk games I've missed up until now. --- Moops? "I thought you were making up diseases? going to have to abandon wonderful 101 - not going to be able to finish it in time (only got past the first boss). Still on track to beat Pixeljunk shooter though. I figured I was probably mistaken, since I never found anyone else with a similar problem online when I searched for it. Still, you don't even have to go full speed to avoid that in the ps4 version. In general the PS4 version seems to run much faster and the view is zoomed out further. The physics were pretty obviously simplified a lot in the vita version, and there's less particles flying around. --- The only certain death in the universe is Mother Hitton's Littul Kittons.
