It's difficult to speculate on possible scum roles without Ben's flip.

Prostitute seems like a rather weak scum role, counterbalanced by whatever the heck killed Han. I could see Jack and Godfather as the remaining roles. I'm guessing nobody left is claiming that they got redirected, and that power makes sense on a jack since I think it belonged to a scum jack in Sultan's last game.

This seems more likely to me. I think scum trying to kill plum last night means they fear cop. If there is a gf I would think they try to just ride on paranoia that the tracker + weak doc was the scanning and hope plum hits gf I figure.

3 man scum team with only 2 scannable by cop seems like a lame game to be a cop in also.

(If you're keeping track at home I now think scum day assassin is probably right-- vanilla prostitute flip would make 3 scum team too weak given the town power that has flipped)

I did have a thought that he was setting up the entire day to use a Scum EK on one of the people who refused to claim for him (though it would have been me at end of day), and then he would have forecasted it enough to claim it.

But then didn't bother because a day-gambler AND a weak doc flipped.

But really, I think there just isn't another extra kill in the game.

A. In over a decade of playing mafia I dont think I have ever seen anyone do this because towns never look this over. If it was a setup Im pretty confidant someone would have banged the war drum over it by now that wasnt me

This is the post right before Han was shot.

So my question is this: Why would scum shoot Han here over me? Thats wild right? Isquen was going to get lynched. Maybe Ben. So why kill Han right here right now?

My first thought was maybe it was because of timing. Maybe scum couldnt shoot in the first 24 hours? No. That isnt the case. Scum shot 27 hours in. Terrible play.

So why then? The only logical reason is Corrik was getting evicerated by Han here.

Corrik was pretty obviously setting up claiming the day kill as town with his claim. And then town also had a day kill and he completely dropped the subject. Han was following that thread and got shot for it.

Good job Corrik! You almost fooled me and would have gotten away with it if it wasnt for town also having a day vig (Which is why your frustration over two day vigs felt real. It was)

Honestly I felt like the kills looked like someone trying to emulate corrik kills from my very last game and trying to paint me. And I can't say Lopen trying to make me miserable all game alive in this while painting me for the mislynch.

But, I have been withdrawn from it and don't feel like getting too big into it. Plum obviously knew day 1 I was purposely trying to emulate reds power (arsonist) day 1 playstyle to get scum to target me day 1 until I just got aggravated and went fuck it towards the end of day 1. That's why I said I don't think Plum says that out loud if he wasn't town.

I kinda agree that the timing was weird. But also, I personally just think it was funny that Han got shot immediately after saying Corrik wasn't vig. Comedic timing is absolutely a valid reason to kill someone you wanted to kill and I believe ScumBen would appreciate that if his team made the kill.

I will definitely give your thought process more credence if Ben's flip indicates such an independent role might exist, though.

The only way it could be an indy is if it's a weird one shot vigilante survivor. Which I wouldn't put it past beyond Sultan to place in the game, but I also don't think is worth considering unless Ben flips something that indicates such a role exists.
