Not someone you barely know, because in that case you do need to let them go even if you dont think you should have been ghosted.

Friend could also mean someone you were in a relationship with.

It's often less about you and more about what the person is experiencing internally.

Ultimately, I think the best advice is to stop being attached to this person.

This is how I operate. But you could also reach out to someone that might still need a friend and just forgot how to socialize productively and is anxious to hit people up

just once or twice? accept that things happen and people make mistakes.

happens repeatedly? accept that you are no longer important to that person and move on. I would probably talk to the person about it before doing this.

Just be sad and write them off until they decide they miss you and reconnect or tell them they forgot you so you forgot them

I've literally done both of these things
