I just asked my mom this question. She was a nurse for a very long time. She said it was either a hemorrhage, an ulcer, stomach cancer, or GI bleeding. Since acab said he felt fine, you can rule out cancer and the hemorrhage. She also said you could have eaten something you weren't suppose to and it ether cut up your esophagus or stomach lining. Also, your drinking habits aren't helping matters.

I haven't eaten anything new.

I have been taking a PPI for several years now for acid reflux. I know that does shit to my stomach.

It's because of alcohol.

How does anyone go through that and not think "I should get to a hospital"?!

I remember ages ago when acab posted a topic about his "John Wayne is a Nazi" t-shirt starting to fall apart, and dp came into the topic moralising about calling political opponents "nazis" and questioning whether John Wayne's political affiliations were anywhere approaching the policies or aims of the Nazi party.

Even when it was pointed out that "John Wayne is a Nazi" is a punk song, which fits acab's musical tastes and suits the other dozens of punk songs he was posted in that topic, he took ages to get the hint and made a disgraceful dismount where he tried to put himself in the right for starting the argument in the first place.

Seeing him do his usual troll shit and admonish acab for his lifestyle is already annoying enough, but it's pathetic when you remember stuff like that. It was legit the first time I became aware of dp because of how clueless and out of place he was being, and that perception has never really left me since - imo, there's zero high ground to claim due to the embarrassing nature of his association with acab.

Either way, I've never had an issue with acab and he's always come across as a personable dude. It's really messed up to hear about his health issues, and I do hope he considers going to the doctor or changing his habits for a little while. I don't want to like push my values on him and make him uncomfortable, but I want him around for as long as possible and brown vomit/shit is a bad sign. Like don't feel pushed away, but there's gotta be something that can be done to be a bit more healthy.

I will say that posting pictures of the puke was a dumb move, but I feel like at that point he was probably leaning into it. That's what I do when I get drunk, and it gets me in trouble just about every time.

I did just make a pathetic and self-indulgent post tbh. I made it for petty reasons too.

But I would like to reiterate - I like a-c-a-b, and I hope he doesn't self-destruct into an early grave. The reason I gave was the long anecdote I wrote beforehand. I also expressed concern about his health, while feeling uneasy about the prospect of pushing him away.
