Only times I was entertained watching someone else play was when friends or family were playing. Some of my athletic exes were captivating to watch in action too, but that was mostly because I knew them intimately. I feel nothing for professional sports stars. I don't know them nor care about events they're showcased in. They're strangers to me. However, I have no criticism for sports fans who go crazy for pro athletes and sports history. Athletic entertainment has been a popular thing for centuries. Not all pro athletes are just in it for fame and money. Some sports stars were philanthropists in their own right doing what they could to help community values for the sake of youth and family. They remind us that there's still an occasional good side to the industries too.
