Number090684 12/25/22 9:51:56 AM #1:	Black ice covered by drifting snow caused loss of control of the vehicle on a turn which led to going off the road into a road sign. Left side of the vehicle got trashed with a good amount of body damage. Thankfully the passenger and I weren't hurt which we are most thankful for. A man named Felix whose yard we crashed into came in clutch and let us warm up in his home and offered us beverages and food, which we respectfully declined. Got it towed to a body shop and need to wait until tomorrow or early this week to see if it's salvageable or if the repair costs are even going to be worth it. 2 and a half hours late we are finally back on our way again. <cite>Number090684 posted [p:970396485] in Was in a c... I lost control maybe seven years ago on this very day. I made a left turn and hit black ice. My car basically did a 180 degree turn, then the tire lightly tapped the curb and it slowly turned my car back where it needed to be. The driver behind me managed to slow down and everyone was okay.
