When the Heart Ignites ROYAL TOMB (Stage D: LUXURIA) Our Homeland such a passionate and dramatic first match. hoping both do well here 2 songs that i like a lot in different ways. obviously i'm going to be biased here because i'm down to my last nom and i wanted to prove to everyone that arakawa kenichi was every bit as worth talking about on cotton fantasy as hagane, so i would be pretty pissed if both the arakawa songs i included just get destroyed (already at a 0-1 record after space...), but i do think lift & lodge is particularly neat. hoping both also do well here very unfortunate match. flying castle is fantastic but it got an opponent that it can't really compete with to me ... When the Heart Ignites is the WA5 song that stood out to me the most from the set during noms. It's pretty great. Great acoustic guitar and melody especially. Risk Everything On This Moment sounds like something from Xenosaga 2. It's ok, but nothing I'd come back to. WA5 gets the easy vote this time. Lift & Lodge is also just ok. That's all I have to say on it. ROYAL TOMB is fairly similar in style to Lift & Lodge, but it's significantly more interesting production-wise. It'll also easily get my vote. Morin khuur best. Our Homeland is super beautiful with a great melody. Flying Castle has a lot of cool EDM elements. It's not quite cohesive or long enough for me to really enjoy it though. Easy vote for Our Homeland. Mixed day, but Our Homeland is good enough to call it a good day. BGM I) Our Homeland When the Heart Ignites is frustrating because it would be close to a 10/10 song if you replaced the whistling with just about any instrument (probably trumpet being ideal), but instead we get a lukewarm song that just doesn't entirely work at either of the styles it's going for. I have to imagine most possible matchups between these games I'd have voted for Wild Arms, but definitely not this one. All easy matches and let's just say it's not because there's any particular song today I love. --- I didn't do guru this year but azuarc can be in my sig anyways. ... Copied to Clipboard!
