I basically gave up on the Jets season when he had to start for these two games.

This isn't a terrible result for the Jets. They know they not only should move on from him, they have to move on.

This is Mike Whites team.

For the second straight year, the Jaguars eliminate the Colts from the playoffs.

I figured the Jets season was mostly over after they blew that first game to the Patriots. Though I thought they might still manage to back into the playoffs. There was a dead cat bounce after that when they then went on to beat the Bills where I thought I may have been a bit premature in calling it.

But I knew it was well and truly over when they lost to the Patriots the second time.

Turning point in the season is absolutely that pick six that was called back in the first Pats game.

If Wilson gets benched in that second Pats game, they win that game easily. Everything since has just been too little, too late.

McVay says Aaron Donald likely won't play again this season, which is not surprising.

While I agree with that I think he's ultimately just going to be the backup next season again.

They're going to play the "which QB might not be quite washed up yet" lottery.

I at least trust them not to bring in Carson Wentz!

This feels like a very chalk heavy pick 'em week nationwide and... I can't blame them.

At 1pm, I genuinely have no idea how the Bengals, Browns, Lions, or Vikings are favored by as little as they are, and I don't expect any of those games to feel particularly close.

Miami is somehow down to a 3.5 point favorite on Sunday in a game I suspect they win easily.

Like I feel like we're getting a lot of tiny lines here and they're all smoke and mirrors trying to make this week look better than it is.

The Dolphins losing is definitely what fans of chaos want.

Speaking of chaos, we have a bonkers tiebreak scenario if Detroit, Green Bay, and Seattle all tie at 9-8. Detroit can never be the 7 because they lost to Seattle, and Green Bay can only tiebreak Seattle if they tiebreak Detroit first.

The 7 seed goes to strength of victory, which is so close between Green Bay and Detroit, that single games in week 18 (or now, of course) can alter it.

The results of Bucs/Falcons, Jets/Dolphins, Panthers/Saints, Titans/Jaguars, and probably more on top of that, can all decide who gets the 7 seed in that scenario.

If they tie, which is possible, Detroit wins the tiebreaker based on SOS instead.

Not going to lie, I am pretty hyped to see Minshew, McSorley, and Foles all start this weekend. Hope at least one of them gets a win.

Vikings are having problems with Isaiah Hodgins. They keep losing him in coverage

I feel like the Panthers' best games always come after being left for dead.

They're up 21-7 on Detroit late in the second and just destroying them on the ground so far.

This would both effectively end the Lions, and put the Panthers back in position to potentially win the south.

And we apparently have.... All of two people on them.

Of course, I don't at all expect this to last, but the fact that they're leading at all is crazy. Reeeeally hopeful for an offseason revamping the O and D lines, and seeing what they do in the draft.
