Now it's the one where Grandpa makes a deathbed confession to Homer after he has a heart attack at a demolition derby, who forgives him immediately. When Abe ends up surviving though, Homer finds the knowledge of what his father did makes him uncomfortable, and Abe is overcome with guilt. He had gotten rid of Mona Simpson's pie recipes, which were had a lot of sentimental value for Homer, and now decides to head out and search for them decades later on his own.

Now it's the one where Homer gets Flanders a job at the power plant after Ned is forced to close down the Leftorium, but soon prays for him to get fired when Ned's attempts to make Homer a better worker drive him crazy, which happens anyway just by Flanders being himself. After bouncing from job to job for a while, Ned becomes a substitute teacher at Springfield Elementary, putting him at odds with Bart and the other troublemakers.

Now it's the one where Grandpa asks the family if he can use the insurance payout they got when their house flooded to pay for an operation he needs, and when Dr. Nick proves to be the wrong doctor for the job, Lisa suggests going to Denmark to take advantage of their free healthcare. When they find out that the healthcare is only available to citizens and accident victims, Homer and Abe go out to try and find a way to get him injured, while Marge and the kids tour around and become enamored with the country.

Ned becomes a substitute teacher at Springfield Elementary, putting him at odds with Bart and the other troublemakers.

"Praise the Lord"? That sounds like a prayer. A prayer! A prayer in a public school!
God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion!

Now it's the one where Bart falls into a coma after being struck by lightning while he and Homer were trying to steal Flanders' internet, and finds himself in a sort of limbo that allows him to see and speak to ghosts, as well as move around in the world without waking up and leaving his bed. The ghosts ask him to fulfill their last requests and help them with things that they regret, but Bart is eventually asked by Maude Flanders to get back at Homer for causing her death. Meanwhile, Lisa struggles with getting revenge on Bart for something he did before the coma.

Now it's the one where Bart winds up in the hospital after accepting a dare from the bullies that sees him fail and faceplant onto sold concrete. In order to cover for himself and Homer, who didn't get there fast enough to save him, Bart makes up a story about going to heaven and seeing he maternal grandfather. His story spreads quickly and gains enough popularity that the Simpsons are approached by a christian movie producer to turn it into a film, but after Lisa put the idea of consequences in his head, Bart starts to feel crushed by guilt.

Now it's the one where Homer and Marge become contestants on Marge's favorite nature survival competition TV show, after Lisa edits together a video of all the previous times they had applied and been rejected and shows it to the producers. Once the competition gets underway, the two of them are quickly eliminated, but Homer is pleased to find out that the losers have to stick around in a luxury hotel until the whole show is over. Marge is homesick, but after Homer convinces her to enjoy their getaway, she finds the real reason they lost the games.

Now it's the one where Flanders, Marge and Lisa each tell stories about human spirituality. Flanders recalls when he was a young door-to-door trampoline salesman and how a static discharge from one of them nearly took his life as well as Homer's, Marge tells the story of her atheist great grandmother and her husband saving American paratroopers in occupied France during WWII, and Lisa tells about Siddhrtha Gautama and the founding of Buddhism.

Now it's Treehouse of Horror XXIX, with Springfield being overrun by body-snatching plants from out space, Lisa finally snapping under Bart's torture, and Mr. Burns turning all the elderly Springfieldians into human-dinosaur hybrids.

Now it's the one where Homer gets fired and goes to work for a company that makes self-driving cars as a test passenger. After his and Marge's influence makes the employees more relaxed and creative, Homer is promoted and Marge is hired as his partner, and the company starts poaching more employees from the nuclear plant. But when Homer and Marge discover something shady in the company's cars, they have a difference of opinion, and Homer has to go against his wife as well as his new employers.

Now it's the one Bart, Milhouse and Nelson order Moe a mail-order bride from Russia in an effort to raise their pranks to another level after the usual phone call fails to get a rise out of the bartender. Moe allows her to stay even though he didn't send for her, and after she turns his bar into a high level establishment, he begins to fall for her. Meanwhile, after Marge finds out that Bart has been using the dark web, she puts him through a series of punishments.

Now it's the one where Marge is mistaken for a drag queen while trying to sell plastic containers. She's conflicted about getting sales while being dishonest, but after Julio convinces her to roll with it, Marge starts to find that the drag lifestyle helps her with her confidence as well as her self-esteem. As usual, Homer is the last person in town to find out what she's doing, and he spills the beans as soon as he does. Meanwhile, Lisa tries to make the world a better place by helping people without them knowing, but it backfires when she tries to help Skinner's relationship with his mother.

Now it's the one where Homer gets a job as a TV recapper, but when he reviews the Krusty the Clown show, Krusty himself is enraged and tries to kill him. With Bart's help, Krusty is able to hide in a traveling circus, where he manages to find happiness working as a traditional clown. Meanwhile, Homer's new job puts friction between him and Marge, while he and Lisa try to blow the whistle on the TV networks.

Now it's the one where Homer takes Lisa shopping to cheer her up after her part is cut from the school play. When Homer starts speaking his mind about what he thinks is wrong with girl's clothes today, Lisa starts to see him as a venerable person, like Atticus Finch in her recent required reading. While their bond grows, Bart starts to feel that Homer is neglecting him, and starts acting out more than usual at the suggestion of the school therapist.

Now it's the one where Marge is devastated when the plan she and Homer laid down to make the kids' only Christmas wish come true falls apart, so Homer and the kids decide to take her to a theme park resort in Florida. Homer impulsively chooses a questionable location online, but to keep the trip a secret from Marge, they drug her tea with sleeping medicine and take her while she's out. The resort turns out to be a disappointment, but Homer, Bart and Lisa are determined to make it look like a good time for Marge.

Now it's the one where Grandpa has a panic attack when Bart brings some toy army men out of the basement, and it's revealed that he was the model for the toy back in 1947, where he had a traumatic experience and was never paid the royalties he was promised. When he goes on the news to talk about it, the company that made the toys contacts him. They tell Abe that he left before signing his contract, and that another person involved had been fired after the incident, so he goes on a trip to Marfa, Texas to apologize to him.

Now it's the one where Lisa becomes desperate for a friend once again, and meets a girl from another school after observing her from the school bus, who has a lot in common with Lisa but comes from a cultured family. Lisa learns that her new friend and her family will be moving away soon, so she makes up a background for her own family, but runs into trouble when their plans to move away are canceled. She starts trying to maintain a double-life, but it doesn't take long for Marge to get suspicious.

Now it's the one where Homer gets on Marge's bad side after he promises not to watch new episodes of a show they've been following without he while she's away visiting her sick aunt Eunice, but fails to keep his word after Bart and Lisa also start watching the show to tempt him. To once again repair the damage he has done to his marriage, Homer starts taking dancing lessons after someone in his guilty nightmare tells him Marge likes dancing shows, but he has to lie so she doesn't find out. Meanwhile, Bart wants to compete in a Krusty-sponsored race, but has Lisa write the essay for the entrance contest for him.

Now it's the one where Krusty goes on a podcast and tells the story of the failed movie production he tried to do in the mid-80's. Shooting at a location in the Mexican desert, many residents of Springfield signed up to be part of the film crew, including the recently formed couple of Homer Simpson and Marge Bouvier. Krusty fires the director and takes on the job himself, but struggles until he makes Marge the assistant director, after which he plots to get Homer killed when he gets closer to her.

Now it's the one where Homer is taken to court by Comic Book Guy and put on trial for grand theft auto and destruction of property, after a valet gave Homer the wrong set of keys and he took Bart, Lisa and Maggie joyriding the car they went to, damaging Comic Book Guy's copy of Radioactive Man #1 in the process. Lisa learns about sentence mitigation videos, and the family tries to make on for Homer, but it's put up against Comic Book Guy delivering the "best speech ever" at the trial.

Now it's the one where Homer and Marge both get injured after an attempt at being romantic sends them both down the stairs, leaving Homer with a hernia and Marge with a twisted ankle. While Marge is introduced to kite surfing by her physical therapist, Homer takes to using his injury to get out of his responsibilities, egged on by the hallucinated personification of his hernia brought on by the pain medication. When this creates a rift between them, Lisa uses advice from Jimbo and Shauna to try and help fix things.

Now it's the one where Homer buys Bart a gaming computer as a bribe to put an end to his pranks, but when Marge asks him to get their son to not play so often, he encourages it instead once he learns that Bart's online game team can win money. With Homer appointing himself as coach, Bart's team wins a place in the world championship games in South Korea, where they'll be competing for a huge cash prize. Meanwhile, Lisa begs to join them on the trip, so she can get to see the Jogyesa Temple.

Now it's the one where Bart and his friends plan to boycott the new all-female Itchy and Scratchy reboot, while Lisa plans to watch on her computer and livestream her reactions. When Bart sneaks into her room to mess with her, he catches part of the new show and laughs even harder than Lisa does, and his reaction is caught by the stream as well. When the other boys find out, Bart is ostracized, but happens to fall in with a group of female miscreants who call themselves Bossy Riot.

Now it's the one where Lisa gets scouted by the musical director of the Capital City Philharmonic orchestra, who invites her there to play in the youth orchestra assembly. Participation turns out to be expensive, so Homer begins picking up night shifts at the power plant, leaving Marge to be the one to make the frequent drives to the city. Both of them are quickly run ragged by their new workload, and when Lisa sees the physical and mental toll being taken from her parents, she begins to feel guilty.

Now it's the one where Marge becomes the director for Springfield's theater group after the last one is forced out by the disgruntled cast. She intends to put on a play that Lisa wrote about Springfield's founder, called Bloody, Bloody Jebediah, which Krusty will show live on television. Meanwhile, Homer takes Maggie to a "Daddy and I" baby class to find out why it's so popular, and discovers that it's because the teacher is hot.

Now it's the one where Lisa is accidentally sent down Niagara Falls while fighting with Bart at the tourist destination. She's saved by a member of the Canadian mounted police and is taken to a hospital for observation, but after ranting to the Mountie about all her problems with America, Lisa is declared a political refugee and given asylum. The rest of the family returns to Springfield while Lisa is put into a foster home, but Marge decides to sneak back into Canada to bring her home, and will need Homer and Bart's help to get back.

Now it's the one where every member of the Simpson family except for Maggie becomes a suspect in the case of Lisa's stolen college fund. Dateline: Springfield first tries to grill Marge, after Helen Lovejoy called them and accused her of gambling it away, but they move on to Homer when Marge is cleared by casino surveillance footage. When Homer has an alibi too, they move on to Bart, who was already prepared with a video proving his innocence. Lisa is next, but when they can't pin it on her either, Marge kicks the Dateline crew out, and leaves the case unsolved.

Now it's the one where Mr. Burns cancels the power plant's employee's children's health care plan, and when the Simpsons can't afford to get Bart his ADD medication, Marge turns to trying new age crystals. When Bart brings home an A on an assignment, Marge goes to buy more of the crystals, only to find that the shop is closing down so the owner can go join a cult. She gives her entire remaining inventory to Marge, who starts her own new age healing shop in the garage, becoming successful thanks to word of the crystals helping Bart reaching Springfield's parents.

Now it's the one where Homer tries to record his own sports talk show for the internet, but when Bart disrupts the shoot and fights with Homer, the video of the brawl goes viral. With the help of a hipster who teaches them about monetization, they become internet celebrities with videos getting tens of millions of hits, but their popularity starts to nosedive when they're seen hugging instead of fighting. Meanwhile, Lisa fights and organizes a strike against the school's new privatized detention system.

Now it's the one where Homer gets demoted from being the plant's safety inspector to supervising the interns. Most of them laugh at him for his ineptitude, but one of them begs Homer to become his mentor. After a disastrous dinner at the Simpson's house, Marge tells Homer that he needs to teach his protg to grow up, and to make his dreams come true on his own. Determined to show that Homer's efforts weren't wasted, the intern decides to open his own business, but gets Homer and himself in trouble by borrowing the start-up money from the mob.

Now it's the one where Chief Wiggum sets out to solve a case and prove he has what it take for real police work, after he gets sidelined from working a crime in which everyone at an Italian culture festival was pickpocketed. When the special investigator who replaced Wiggum uses Homer as bait to lure out the culprit, it leads the police to Fit-Fat Tony, who insists that he is innocent. Working together, Wiggum and Tony set up a sting operation to catch the real criminal.

Now it's Treehouse of Horror XXX, with the kids going on a mission to save Milhouse from another dimension, Homer's disembodied spirit hopping from body to body in a possession spree, and Selma falling in love with an alien found in the power plant's basement.

Now it's the one where Lisa and Bart free a whale from captivity with the help of Groundskeeper Willie, which finally impresses what altruism is about on Bart. He decides to free even more animals from the zoo, including the vicious ones. When he and Milhouse set free a gorilla named Lolo, it goes on a rampage that the police can't stop, so a panicking Bart calls Lisa for help. Meanwhile, Homer accomplishes his childhood dream of owning a boat, but starts looking for co-owners to share expenses when he finds out that owning a boat is full of hassles.

Now it's the one where Marge becomes tired of being considered the boring member of the Simpson family, and when she finishes the job of chopping up a downed tree that Homer started, finds a knack for lumberjack work. Patty introduces her to a professional named Paula, who invites Marge to compete in timbersports with her, and to train with her in the forests of Oregon. But when Patty tells Homer that Paula is a lesbian, he begins to fear that she's going to steal Marge away from him.

First episode with Grey DeLisle as the voices for Martin Prince as well as Sherri and Terri after Russi Taylor died.

Now it's the one where Luann Van Houten invites the Simpson family on the Van Houten's annual trip to Costa Rica, along with the Hibbert family, Superintendent Chalmers and his daughter Shauna, as well as Patty and her new girlfriend Evelyn. Marge asks Homer to be on his best behavior around Evelyn, but when she turns out to behave just like him, it puts tension between Marge and Patty instead. Meanwhile, Lisa and Bart investigate into how the Van Houten family can possibly afford to make this trip every year.

Now it's the Thanksgiving of Horror, with the Simpson family as turkeys trying to evade the pilgrims on the first Thanksgiving, Homer ordering a robot with A.I. programmed to emulate Marge and help her cook a Thanksgiving feast, and the kids in the future trying to recreate Thanksgiving in space after the earth's destruction.

Now it's the one where Todd Flanders starts having doubts about his mother being in a better place, and when he isn't able to get answers to his questions from his father or anyone else, renounces his faith in front of everyone at church. Ned is at a loss for what to do, and decides to show Todd the closest thing possible to hell, by sending him next door to live with the Simpsons. While Lisa tries to teach him about Buddhism, Marge is upset with Ned for restricting what she can do while Todd's around, Homer is upset because Todd hears everything they try to do, and Bart parades him around as a new friend to use to confuse the bullies with religious questions.

Now it's the one where Sideshow Bob is contracted to play Santa Claus at the Springfield Mall, while at the same time, a thief is going around and stealing Christmas packages off of people's doorsteps. Bart finds Bob at the mall, and because he refuses to break character, he stops himself from killing the boy. Bart suspects Bob of being the package thief, but he agrees to team up with him to find the real culprit.

Now it's the one where Homer and Marge are invited to Artie Ziff's wedding. Homer attends the bachelor party to feel things out, where he learns that Artie has made his fortune back after being paroled. When they go to the wedding itself, they're shocked to find out that Artie's bride-to-be looks exactly like Marge, and he admits that he has put together several flawed Marge-bots while trying to recreate the real thing. Meanwhile Lisa's new braces make her more popular at school - because she literally cannot stop smiling.

Now it's the one where Marge convinces the city to build a STEM center with the money from the treasure they recently confiscated from the Sea Captain, so they can better equip the children to be successful adults. After the school is built, both Bart and Lisa are enjoying their new educational styles, but when Lisa discovers that the school is really only teaching the gifted kids and training everyone else for menial jobs, she tries to change the system from within. Meanwhile, Homer begins to fear that his job at the power plant will be automated, and decides to compete against a new beverage machine to prove human superiority.

They addressed it with a joke. Apparently the dentist that first gave her braces was a periodontist pretending to be an orthodontist, so the first ones didn't count.

Now it's the one where Professor Frink develops a new currency called "Frinkcoin", and almost immediately takes Mr. Burns' position of being the richest person in Springfield. He finds that he feels empty inside in spite of his new fame and fortune, but picks up some friends when Homer brings him to Moe's at Marge's suggestion, and begins taking them to fancy upscale places with his money. But when Mr. Burns fails to overtake Frinkcoin with his own digital currency, he opts instead to break Frink's spirit, and shows him that all of his new friends only like his money and not him.

Now it's the one where Bart manages to see the latest big superhero movie a month before it releases by viewing an early cut of the film on one of the actors' laptops. When he tries to trade his spoilers to Comic Book Guy for a new comic book, and Comic Book Guy gives him everything he has to avoid having the movie spoiled for him, Bart realizes that he can use his advance knowledge of the film to blackmail everyone into giving him whatever he wants - except for Homer, who doesn't care about the movie. The film's producers hear about what he's doing in Springfield, and set out to stop him.

Now it's the one where Marge demands that the family reduces their time focused on media screens to half an hour per week after none of them notice that Maggie learned sign language. Their lives are enriched in various ways after putting their screens away, but when it turns out that Marge is just as addicted as they are, the family checks in to a screen addiction rehab center. But when they discover that the center is doing shady things with stolen accounts of their patients, they have to find a way to escape.

Now it's the one where Flanders takes Bart under his wing as punishment for pranking the entire school assembly with a dummy grenade, and after several days of activities including fishing and singing in the church choir, Ned is praised by everyone for finally turning Bart around. Homer gets jealous that Ned is bonding with Bart better than he ever could, and becomes a mentor to Nelson, starting a jealousy arms race between father and son.

Now it's the one where Marge gets a job at a marijuana dispensary while looking for something to do when Maggie's at daycare. She's initially uncomfortable about technically being a drug dealer, but her family encourages her to keep it, as the service helps the community. But when Otto goes to Moe's and complains that he misses the "feel" of getting drugs illegally, Homer, Moe and Lenny start their own dispensary, which puts Marge's job at risk with the competition.

Now it's the one where Maggie reunites with Hudson from the "Playdate with Destiny" short film. While Maggie's overjoyed to see her friend again, Marge doesn't want anything to do with Hudson's annoying mother, and refuses to let Maggie play with him so she can avoid having to interact with her. Meanwhile, Cletus stumbles into a fair amount of money and becomes a helium tycoon, and Mr. Burns tries to use Homer in order to acquire the business.

This one has an amazing couch gag, imo

Now it's the one where Reverend Lovejoy is once again disappointed to see a nearly empty church during service, despite his best efforts. When a young man named Bode turns up and applies for the youth minister position, Lovejoy gives him the job after a short interview, but Bode ends up standing in for Lovejoy himself when the reverend loses his voice before the next service. Bode does such an incredible job that it sets off a full-blown religious revival in Springfield, and the church council is so impressed that they vote for Bode to replace Tim as the Springfield church's reverend, and this sends the Lovejoys on a mission to Bode's last job to find some dirt.
