Buy a camping stove or hot plate to have stove burners. If you don't have an oven, you can compromise with a toaster oven. Appliances like air fryers or rice cookers or rotisseries can cook certain meals. Equipment isnt the issue its my 80 year old incontinent father who refuses to do anything about it... and Im the cleaning lad. I mean, statistically you don't, but if you spritz a dividing curtain with pretty much any oil (something about ions and surface tension IDK) it should block odors to the kitchen... ... ... Whatever tribe that Dahmer fellow belonged to... sociopaths? All jokes aside, one or both of my parents reaching this point is a fear in the back of my mind (especially after seeing it first hand with a friend's mom). Hoping mine are both lucky and stay self-sufficient into their 90s.
