Wow, more heavy hitters. Two of them are ~50th place in my vgm rankings! But I'm disappointed I couldn't vote for Mechanism, one of my favorite new discoveries so far this contest... *sigh* Matches one and three have some seriously great music.

Wildfires is very impressive if a tad overlong.
Corneria is one of my fav Brawl tracks, which itself is my fav Smash OST. Very simple but there's no fat here. 30XX is pandering to everything I like, but not quite enough to get the vote today. Maybe if it was Hollows! Close match.
Much like Tokyo, Mechanism grows from 'meh' to 'this kicks ass' for me as the song progresses. Forest is also very good. This is a close one, too! Great day.

I think I would put MASSIVE X as one of my top 5(?) songs from Eschatos, but Rapid as Wildfires is just a solid theme.

Rapid as Wildfires is pretty awesome. Great orchestration, the mallet percussion and sitar are well-used, the melody is quite good as well. Just a great song all-around. Massive X is definitely a song on the other hand.

Corneria is a banger. Great synths and melody. 30XX Main Theme is also really good. Great catchy melody and just a fun song. Tough match tbh.

Mechanism is yet another banger from Neotokyo. Somewhat repetitive, but it builds on itself enough that it's not too bothersome. I don't need to say anything about Breath of Forest that I haven't already said. It's alright, but nothing special.

rapid as wildfires has a lovely rhythm, good build up. love the section that begins at around the 1:30 mark. really great use of motif. massive x is pretty good too. eschatos is a very remarkably passable soundtrack. as a whole i enjoy it, but many of these songs don't stand out particularly. wildfires is easily more memorable.

the little build up in the intro of corneria is sick. easily the highlight right off the back. the energy that carries the rest of the tune is pretty good too. this song may have been one of the reasons why i did not support the set (or i was hesitant to support if i did, but i'm positive i didn't ) but that's more because brawl music is just really solid all around! wasn't sure how to feel 30XX, but the song improves as it goes on, with enough variation to make it interesting.

mechanism is very slinky and smooth, moody and inquisitive. it could do with 20 seconds or so shorter, but an altogether interesting experience. i've said enough about breath of forest during vgmc16 i'm sure. :)
