Republican in congress have literally said that if they had more power Jan. 6 would have been successful. Republicans in congress have said Trump should have gotten the Military to help stop Biden. People on the right are upset because they can't use slurs on the internet . People are the on right are supporting a man bringing back literally Klansmen to public platforms. And like I said in the opening. The Right literally stole court seats and now using that to strip rights away from normal Americans. The right literally said their only goal was to stop him.

This just came a cross by fed. And I speak about it because Obama and other centrist always seem to get a pass for defending the right. Like now look at how people are defending him but not addressing issues. The Republican party have people in office who tried to over throw the government. And party as whole is cool with it. Their new guy from FL had people ARRESTED ,but their arrest on TV, and used it to scare people to not vote. But it's okay because he loves his kids.

Regardless of whether he used "woke" correctly or not (sounds like that part was a joke), he is completely right. Many people on the left are so far gone and only make things worse by attacking everyone. It happens on this site all the time too. And the worst offenders live their lives on the Internet and don't actually interact with people much.

Note that I am very liberal, at least socially, but y'all aren't helping our side at all. All you do is make independents and moderates our enemies.

White racist misappropriate a term my black people to fight racism. And Obama signs off on its misappropriation. That isn't a good look. America has history of a using terms from AAVE and making into something bad.

He brought that up himself and it was something from 40 years ago. He was also ashamed of it, but you still want to punish him for it.

This is the crux of the problem. We want people to not be racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc, but yet we never forgive them for it even if they turn around their lives. So what is the impetus for people to see the error of their ways and change?

At some point, the constant harping on people becomes counterproductive. I do agree that there are tons of issues that need to be fixed and we need to call people out, but at what point does it go too far and start causing more harm? I don't know where the exact line is, but we need to think about the fact that the line does exist.
