The more I see of this, the less interested I get. I cannot STAND Shinigami. What an annoying character, and not in an endearing way like Monokuma.

The theme is almost identical to the Danganronpa theme too

I enjoyed 999 a good amount and it doesn't have ANY animal mascots!

Same goes for like all the Phoenix Wright games. Most of them are fantastic!

I can totally understand the Blue Badger hate given who dresses up as him in one of the games.

See the Blue Badger is great because it's an actual mascot. It isn't something weird deformed living creature with a grating voice, it's just a silly cardboard cutout with zero speaking lines

Well, I like actual characters and having them be integral to a story. Forgive me if I don't give a shit about a piece of cardboard that doesn't speak and tilts back and forth.

It's also incredibly frustrating to hear this from multiple sources when people say... "I like this animal character because they don't talk and don't do anything."

It's basically saying. "I like when animal characters aren't important and have nothing to do with the story or plot."

And sure, that's fine if you want humans to be the forefront of stories because you can relate to a human better or whatever. But we also have that in like 100000000 other stories so uh yeah.

I could go on a huge rant about this but I'll leave it at that, no one cares anyways lol

I like mystery games, so I will buy this. I wish there was a more concrete release date, though.

Honestly don't blame you because Ultra Despair Girls (having watched almost half of it before just sticking to the main story aspects) looks embarrassing to play. I would still recommend getting around to DRV3 especially as UDG itself has no relevance to whatever happens in that game.

This looks like DR meets Persona, but ugh amnesiac detective is one of the lamest things you can do for a plot/character.

And not even the first time it's been done in Danganronpa. Plus the protagonist idiot hair antenna is there.

This is very likely going to turn around and literally be another Danganronpa game.

Just skip Ultra Despair Girls, don't play it. Do play DRV3 because it's good. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to play UDG.

I mean

I like Toko and Komaru. He'll, I only like Toko because of UDG!

But I can't say it was, like...a good game.

As for UDG: it is supremely skippable unless you give a damn about some of the taken people from DR1, or who Komaru and the dumbass kids were in DR3 (the anime.) The music is nice though.
