Uta 12/09/22 4:04:39 PM #11:	When I was in church, my teacher's told me that Catholicism was the oldest religion, and had survived the longest, therefore it was obviously the correct one. All false religions had been supplanted by Christianity (read: Egyptian / Jewish religions) and if it hadn't been "The One Truth" then something else would have taken over by now. Honestly, those classes made such obviously poor arguments they pushed me towards atheism harder than anything else in my life. All of their lessons where consistently made with a fundamental misunderstanding of how the world actually works, so anyone with any basic history or science knowledge would instantly know they're lying or just plain stupid. Didn't take me long before I stopped attended church after I'd realized that. --- Others don't get to dictate what's normal and what isn't. HBOSS 12/09/22 4:54:19 PM #16:	I went to a catholic private school for elementary and highschool (all boys). Elementary religion class was heavy in the old testament in my 5th and sixth grades. Had to memorize old books from there and pretty much give a summary of each book throughout elementary. In highschool, it was all the apostles and what they did, how they saw their savior, how they died, and how religion continues in my life. I couldnt tell the difference between christianity until i learned the new testament and how monarchs were adapting religion in their kingdoms from history. Crazy part is i am still in a religious journey, my religious journey. The catholic church has life milestones that will continue your religious journey. Ahh, just brings me back to where i am with religion and whats left for me lol Christianity just fits.
