Literally one of the best times to buy in the past 2 and a half years.

I mean its not like were going to stop using chips anytime soon.

The irony there is it doesn't take bravery it takes completely diverging yourself from any emotions. There's a whole community of people that use code to trade, some because they don't trust their own emotions when their money is on the line.

Fuck me. Bought GUSH at 142 thinking its going to go way up. Panic sold the next day at like 139. Now its at 162.

For the low low investment of about $700,000 into O, I could quit my job and live off the monthly dividends

First sell: $97.19
Bought them back a few weeks later at $90.00
Sold for $90.47
Bought again at $84.15

TSLA was such a good buy when it dipped to 109. I regret it. Everyone is so pessimistic on TSLA but I think you guys were right, they are still the EV king and no one will dethrone them for at least a decade

I got 1 share of TSLA at 120. I would get more, but I'm focused on paying my car off within about 45 days.

I've been eating my long term losses through this recent pump. I am already up to $4k in realized losses for the year with plenty more to go. But I need the cash more for a house down payment. Some of these positions have basically zero chance of coming back so better to rip the band aid off at this point.

S&p is up 5% YTD, that's basically the standard to measure up against.

I was making money hand over fist and it all turned on me in 2021. Instead of selling for small losses like I should have I kept doubling down. I am up a decent amount from the worst of it but some of these positions need to double to come back.

Always use stop losses folks things can always go down more when you think they can't.

Buy maybe low, maybe high, sell ?

Went from -$68 in morning to +$.24 at closing, wish I had any money left in bank when amazon tanked to $91 but at least it went back up, wonder if it will do the same tomorrow

Was like -200 earlier and ended the day +2.55 lol

ENZC my only red one today but only down -8.77 when it was the majority of that -200ish

Nah, see, I told you guys not to underestimate Tesla. Yeah, the CEO is a douche, but that doesn't mean there aren't millions of those cars on the road and that there won't be millions more, that's service and sales both friends.

I don't think the issue is that TSLA is a bad company or even anything to do with Musk. It's the fact it has a market cap greater than the rest of the major auto manufacturers combined. You certainly don't see more Teslas than other cars on the road. Is Tesla the company actually worth that much more money than Toyota/Hyundai/Honda/Ford/etc..., or is the stock overvalued?

I'm not sure. I just know that company is growing. And maybe it's anecdotal, but here in Texas, over just the past three years, it's gone from them being a novelty to see one to I'm sick of seeing them. They built a whole new Tesla place out on the highway. Simply put, they are growing, and it is not stopping. This I know.

I think you just gotta figure if it's a good buy for you. You can keep talking about those other auto companies, and it's worth mention for sure, but Tesla growth cannot be denied, imho.

My understanding with Telsa is that it's seen as much more than a car company which is why the market cap is so high (it's seen as a groundbreaking tech company, solar, batteries, etc...). But then the stock always reacts severely to the car delivery numbers so I never know what to think about it.

I wouldn't put a fig into their solar. Their cars are where it's at.

Up 8.8% ytd. I like 2023 much better than 2022 so far.
