Yeah.

What killed it for me was the WWE's pre-packaged McWrestling style of having a guy like John Cena or Roman Reigns hit a couple of clotheslines and call it a day. It's just baseline not fun to watch the hero get stomped only to make a brief comeback and win the match in three moves. Like, ya, you proved your taller and more muscular than the other guy. You totally deserve to win against the guy who dictated the entire match.

It begs the question. If the big damn hero is strong enough that he can take out his opponent in only a couple of hits, why does he wait so long to land them? That's like if Mike Tyson let himself get beaten up for seven or eight rounds before landing a haymaker. If you can knock the guy out in a couple of hits, get it over with in the first round and be done with it.

I still am now. Been watching since Fall of 2000 or so. I generally watch WWE. Catch AEW when I can. Sometimes I'll check out some classic ROH, New Japan, and WoW.

I checked out of WWE years and years ago. It just became so stale and blah for me. Like there was a time where id be upset if I missed Raw. Then slightly miffed but okay if i did. Then meh, read the results and i'm fine. Then i just stopped watching and couldnt care less.

WWE basically killed my interest in pro wrestling for a long time.

Then AEW came along. I hummed and hawwed about maybe giving it a chance and then with minutes to go, i gave it a chance. I instantly loved it.

Present day, the lustre and the freshness has kind of eroded a bit but AEW is still entertaining to me. I couldnt care less whats going on in WWE even with Vince gone.

I once was a religious watcher up until about 2010-11. The I just slowly stopped over the following years. I went from recording it and watching when I got off work, to watching it a few days later, then a week later, then just deleting the recording.

I've kept up with WWE through YouTube clips and watched a few premium events but don't watch the shows. AEW doesn't interest me because I looked into guys like Omega and the Bucks and just can't stand them, they seem like asshats.

My main interest recently was podcasts talking about what was happening behind the scenes back in the day, but that's kind of waning too.

Yes I used to be a fan.

When I was a kid/teenager I used to love to watch the British wrestling that was shown on ITV. My favourite wrestler Big Daddy (real name Shirley Crabtree a man).

I also used to watch WWF/WWE wrestling but gave up on it long ago after realizing how fake it was.

Yeah, from around 2008 to 2011/12. I used to post on the PWB every so often as well.

I pretty much stopped caring after I attended Wrestlemania 26. I pretty much had stopped watching it by that point already, but I rekindled some interest long enough to last through WM26 and then I was good after that.

I still am. I watch WWE and AEW weekly. WWE run by Triple H has some issues but it's a genuinely better product. They have the more stand out matches, for example, Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns at Summerslam this year was a complete spectacle that was also a satisfying conclusion to what felt like a feud that never ended. Sami Zayn being the most lovable guy in the entire industry is also pretty sweet and the fact he gets to play it up in the main event now is awesome.
