five hours isn't a bad road trip at all. i normally only do 5+ hours for more than one show, but the bands i follow around tour a lot and i see them multiple times a year. if one of my favorites was doing a limited tour and the only way to see even a single show was a 5h trip, I'd do it. nothing wrong with going to shows alone. I do it quite often and part of me prefers it. you don't need to cater to anyone's wants or needs but your own. if you feel like talking and being social, you can make friends with your neighbors. i've met dozens of people from all around the country at shows and stay in touch with a handful of them. --- Playing: The Last of Us Part II I hope something good happens to you today ... I've driven 3.5 hours each way to see a concert by myself, it was worth it. I did fly to Chicago for a concert many years ago. Stayed for a couple days and had a great vacation, but the concert was the main reason for the trip. Did that with an ex-girlfriend though, I don't think I would do that solo. --- Can you say David Hasselhoff? ... Copied to Clipboard!
