I dont really associate catholics and god fearing together. Baptists especially southern baptists abd evangelicals, yes. Most catholics i know live pretty freely lol.

It's been quite the opposite in my experience. Catholics tend to be more rigid/stricter than Baptists.

There are different subsets of Baptists. I went to a friend's Baptist wedding and the "reception" had no dancing and alcohol. It sucked. I have not seen that friend since then because it helped me realize I have nothing in common with him anymore. He used to be different and more fun.
