another question, if a bully wanted to apologize to you, now, would you accept their apology?

I wasn't bullied very well, so I'd probably accept the apology.

Wouldn't hold it against someone who got majorly bullied if they wouldn't, though.

Was bullied back in school, mostly cause being one of the few asians in school made it easier. But nothing too bad. Would forgive them for being a shitty kid. I know I have made some very stupid decisions back then as well.

Oh yes. In kindergarten I was so skinny that I had to wear suspenders because my mom couldn't find pants small enough for me. I was also very shy and socially awkward, and video gaming was still very much an unpopular 'nerd' hobby in the early to mid-90's. I was ripe for the picking as far as getting picked on.

Elementary school is where I got bullied
Then I turned into a violent psychopath for about a year reacting to every perceived slight with violence making me worse than the kids who teased me

Apologies were done and I become friends with the people who picked on me and really regretted how I acted

I should have been bullied in middle school for being a 70 lb kid on the football team who couldnt even lift the basic bars in weight training.. but somehow I wasnt. I guess I was fast enough and caught balls well enough (heh) for the bigger dudes to not care.

I was for a minute and I did run into him 15-20 years later. He was a cab driver and he recognized me immediately. He said he was sorry, long time ago, wish he had been differentI let him off the hook and he took me where I needed to go. Tipped him a wedgie.

In high school, I fumbled a presentation because I was nervous. This one kid kept mocking me for it and it went on for weeks. Every lunch time he'd run up to me and point his finger while mocking my speech. I got fed up. I pushed him into a bush in front of everyone and walked away. Next day he comes back talking about all these moves his dad taught him about breaking people's nose with the palm of his hand. I guess, he was trying to intimidate me. Anyways, he tried mocking me again, and I pushed him into a bush again. After that he just avoided me for the rest of my time in high school.

Not directly, but took a lot of fights for my brother.

Got bullied in middle school until I fought back big time one day. After that and through high school the tough guys avoided me and anyone they knew was friends with me.

Yeah, I was bullied. I was the shy quiet kid that kept to himself. It made them consider me a weirdo, and I became a target.

I also was bad at sports, so it started like the stereotypical being chosen last. Actually,but got to the point that they started choosing to play handicapped rather than gave me in the team. Once the coach figured out what was going on, he'd agree and give me a pass for the day. Though, he'd still try and make them choose me which always ended with them listing why I shouldn't be allowed to play.

One guy in particular had it out for me. He sat behind me, and one day grabbed my hair and cut it real quick. He spread rumors about me. Got his little clique to rough me up sometimes. Him and his 3 buddies would hold me down while another one or two would kick me. Then they'd take my stuff and throw it in the dumpster. I'd come home dirty and scuffed up.

There were other things, like writing a horrible note to a classmate and signing my name to it. Smearing a very questionable substance on my locker handle. At the end of senior year, we all had to sign our class flag. By the time I got around to it, there wasn't much room left, so I just signed where there was room... But apparently that was too close someone else's name. So they took a brush and painted over my name. Just so it wouldn't be near theirs.

...fun times.

I moved around a lot as a kid so I was often the New Kid. Naturally that led to some bullying. It never lasted long since my response to being bullied was all the overwhelming violence my 10ish year old body could muster. After a couple of ass whippings everybody tended to let me read the books I was always carrying around in peace.

Honestly if one of the main bullies from my childhood wanted to apologize I'd shrug and offer to buy them a beer. Nothing I dealt with was overly traumatic

Grade school. I was being bullied on the bus. By two people who would hit me. Not like razing but really hit me. Then just say I handled it. Then people assumed I was crazy. Talk behind my back avoiding me. Then I started playing sports. Besidss lite razing from the guys that everyone got i was in. But those years of being avoided fucked me up until this day.

The only other thing I recall is this guy trying to fight me. I told him where to meet and he didn't show up.

i got called the f-slur and slurs for trans ppl multiple times a day, every day, and if they werent ballsy enough for that they called me covergirl or maybelline
never really upset me tho bc i had a lot of friends and always had a gf
i cant remember/never knew the names of the kids that would talk shit, so if someone were to apologize id just say cool i guess no hard feelings

I did in first grade, it culminated in someone pushing me down a flight of stairs and the school not telling my mom about it.

Needless to say, I went to a new school in second grade.

Probably wouldn't accept their apology cause I could've ended up in the hospital from that

No and yes, @school no, at home yes and my older brothers were behind it.

I was a short mousy gay black nerd with buck teeth in school. Of course I was bullied throughout school. Id like to think Ive moved on. The older I get the more I realize most people who lash out at others, especially at that age, have self esteem issues or are in a bad situation at home. Whatever the case, its usually not personal.

Pretty much every day in high school. This group of kids (mostly girls) decided I was the poor dirty kid and put me down repeatedly for it. I mean I was poor but I took showers every day and wore clothing as clean as everyone else. It was probably jealousy because poor kids were supposed to be in the remedial classes in their eyes, not one of the top students in the school like I was.

It was one girl who was the worst. She went out of her way to make high school a living hell. Honestly as bad as this sounds, I don't want an apology from her, I want to hear her life went down the shitter, because mine didn't.

Not really. I grew pretty big really fast, so nobody really went after me too hard. Worst case was mild teasing from people who I knew as friends and we could give each other the business and laugh about it. We never did this with kids in outside circles because it would have seemed like bullying and our school was very strict about that.

I also went to a private school and we were all a bunch of dorks (and mostly all friends). The school was small enough to where they could very easily prevent outright bullies, though sometimes a whole grade would do something fucked go through mob mentality.

It was in middle school in 2005 and I thought it was because he was a Micheal Jackson fan. I was oblivious to LGBT individuals and looking back it was likely because the kid was in the LGBT realm. They usually beat him up when he would dance and try to sing and told him to shut up no one wants to hear MJ songs.

Yes, I went to 2 different schools that was majority Mexicans or White. Got bullied specifically because I was asian.

Not really. I was too large and athletic for most people to try messing with me even though I was (still am) weird.

The one who tried to make a habit of fucking with me backed down when I tried to fight him and left me alone after that.

I doubt Id even recognize him anymore. If he wanted to apologize Id accept it because it would be silly for him to be holding onto that for so long.

People are always changing and accepting that makes it easy to forgive them.

I always was, up until middle school, where I got back at one of my bullies and punched him to the ground and broke his jaw, leading to being expelled.

Yeah. 6th grade by a lot. Then I joined the football team 7th grade. A lot of my bullies on the team. They quit. Dunno if cause respect or the fact I could take shots at them during practice without getting I'm trouble. The rest except one quit in high-school when I started wearing a trench coat. The last one I finally started standing up to.

I'd only accept an apology from the last one if he pays back the money in costs of backpacks of mine he tore up
