Playing Populus The Beginning

They had a certain art style that was intense and creepy, you don't see it anymore, but I love it to death.

Going to check out the next game they made after, it's something like dungeon masters

Also, I tried buying it on GOG, but they wouldn't let me create an account so I bought it on EA.

I would have just "downloaded" it, but that's too fishy.

Love Populous The Beginning. Played it as a kid and still have the original copy, although I bought on GOG as it comes with the 2 expansion packs. Creatures 1, 2, 3 & Sonic R were also 90s PC favourites.

I loved the Populous games.

Fury 3. I played the shit out of it back in the day.

I played a lot of Lightspeed / Hyperspeed back in the day.

When I got the internet I found some more obscure games like Synnergist or Blue Ice.

From time to time I've looked for a copy of Z95, Halloween Harry in Zombie Wars, and Bedlam 2. But no luck on those.

Captain Blood / Commander Blood look like interesting games. But one is rather confusing and another is only in French.

There might be a couple of outdated mechanics.

I wish I could get the Indiana Jones Desktop Adventures to work, but it was written for 16-bit Windows and is thus incompatible with 64-bit Windows.

It was a sort of cross between Zelda and the Lucasarts SCUMM adventure games.

Gotta check out master of magic. 4x game, kind of imba, but its up to you to discover those strategies. Also, lots of roguelike elements, funny since roguelike wasnt a thing yet in those days.
