Oh, White in this game has been unquestionably better than Wilson has been basically his whole career. No doubt.

But that was also true in White's first start against the Bengals and then he basically played at-or-below Wilson after that so I'm not drawing any conclusions for even the intermediate term here. Mike White has absolutely earned another start next week but I'm internally bracing for the regression again.

Their next games are at Minnesota and at Buffalo.

They're most likely not winning those games regardless of who the QB is. They'll probably look bad regardless, so they can let White take those games and have an excuse to go back to Wilson after they lose both.

Of course if they actually win either of those with White he's gotta stay QB1.

is there any way the Jets don't try to replace Wilson in the offseason

the ironic thing is that the Jets became too good this year to get a high draft pick, so they'll either have to trade up to draft one or trade for/sign a veteran

I think the answer the Jets try to shoot for is Jimmy G, and its pretty obvious given their structure

now that's a dynasty i could support

Jimmy G has been easily the #1 name I've been hearing as far as Jets pursuits.

It'd be a surprise if they didn't pick up a new QB at this point.

Jacksonville's isn't much easier aside from a game with Houston too

Beating Houston and even just splitting with the Jags gets Tennessee to 9 wins and I don't think Jacksonville can get there

It's sad that the Ravens signed a 35 year old guy off the street and he's a better receiver than everyone they already had.
