It really isnt that slow. If you liked rogue one, watch it. Its great.

I think we all pretty much expected that the prisoners were making parts for the Death Star.

I clapped when the funeral music turned into the theme.

Oh and I had a good hearty band geek laugh at the flutes that were normal flutes with crap strapped to them.

I guess you can't go too far from reality when it comes to musical instruments without it looking silly.

Great episode, great season.

I wasn't expecting the funeral procession to effect me like it did. Very similar to how the opening of Wakanda Forever did; I was not expecting to get feels from any of this stuff. Maarva's speech was amazing.

I'm loving Mon Mothma. She's so determined to defeat the Empire that she's selling out her douchebag husband to cover her own Rebellion funding activities. Mon Hubby is gonna end up doing the "On Program" dance. And her daughter, well, she definitely is feeling conflicted about that, but pushing ahead regardless.

Was really pleased Luthen survived the episode. I had seen a lot of speculation that he would not.

One minor detail: I love how friggin ruthless Cassian is when he's working. Taking down that Imperial and then putting one in his chest. I feel like when Cassian kills, we feel the weight of it more than we have with any other blaster kills from the OT/PT/ST or any of the D+ shows. His kills feel different, I love it.
Could say more, but I'll wrap it up.

The closeness helps with that. He stuck the barrel right at the guy's chest.

When Cass got to hear the last words of his mother in the sewers, damn. Supreme episode.

The big set piece scenes in this show are so fucking good. The heist, the prison break, now this scene with the funeral procession

like you know whats coming but the way they built tension as they marched through the streets was masterful

That scene where the one dude was shot off the stormtrooper and the camera just lingered on his dead face for a while as people run past/over him

brutal, would never have expected that in freaking Star Wars

the heist, the prison break and this one have been my favorite episodes from the show so far! cant help but cheer when the rebels started to attack those empire fucks! lol

definitely the best SW show since Mandalorian!

and again, i know this was probably said before but i just wanna point out how refreshing it feels to get a Star Wars show that doesnt revolve around your typical SW stuff (jedis, lightsabers, Vader, etc.). its like someone out there actually listened to those of us who got tired of the same old same old... lol

Some random char from Rogue One somehow became the best Star Wars show meanwhile Obi-Wan was fucking terrible

One of the things that I find most astounding about this show is just how captivating it is while remaining relatively clean. The harshest the language gets is a "shit" or "bastard" but very rarely, and there is virtually no gore. Most prestige shows can't say the same.

Might be the strongest first season of anything I've ever watched.

Just awesome, gonna watch Rogue One again soon now. Show exceeded my expectations in just about every way.

It's like they took a 90's EU novel and adapted it page-for-page. It's a very high compliment.

It's the most mature the series has been, and arguably the most challenging since KOTOR 2. Again a compliment.

The only real complaint other than a very padded beginning is they could've changed some character names to not sound like other ones. Bix? Leida? C'mon now.

you missed the worst one -- Kleya. Elizabeth Dulau even looks quite a bit like Carrie Fisher.
