If you can't be bothered, what I found interesting about this was how it highlights some of BotW biggest strengths. There's not really a wrong way to play the game, and there aren't many obstacles to doing what you want. Like, no invisible path obstacles, no 4ft walls that you can't get past, many ways to approach combat (or avoid it altogether). is cool

I watched this a while back it's really cool. Even if you don't know or care much about breath of the wild particular I think it's just an interesting look at how people who don't play many video games interact with games

My non-gamer spouse is playing BotW now. I talked her into it after she gave up halfway through Ocarina of Time in the past. Shes loving that there isnt really a wrong way to go, and she doesnt constantly need help on figuring out where to go next or how to unlock the required path.

His first video on this series covers a bunch of games and is really interesting. It's funny how many things we have already learned before we play a game.

Is this the video where he was talking about how a non gamer kept resetting the camera to point in the direction of the player instead of moving the camera with the right stick? Because I remember before I became an avid video game player I used to do that all the time before mapping the camera to the right analog stick became standard. So I totally get it

Its a pretty good game thats overrated to the point of annoying.

Meanwhile other platforms are drowning in open world games so they dont care at all.....

Breath of the wild is the greatest tech demo ever released.

Which is still more complete than most currently released games.
