De-scheduling federally means each state still has to legalize it individually, barring the few where it's already legal (or never actually was illegal at the state level). All that changes it now you can buy weed with a credit card.

Probably a waste of time, but Woodfin is a pretty good mayor despite some questionable moves.

I don't know about that. Biden did just make a big push for it at a federal level a month ago. And with the Dems managing to control the senate after midterms, they might actually be able to get something done soon. Especially with the MORE Act already passing in the House in April.

I've been pretty pessimistic about marijuana legislation for a long time. But even I have to admit that the tide finally seems to be turning.

What Biden did seemed like pre-election pandering. Pardon zero people and politely ask the DEA to think about maybe considering taking a look at the scheduling.

What is encouraging is the number of states that are taking matters into their own hands. This past election could have been better, but two new states added to the list isnt bad.

Also, I could be wrong about this but I think the MORE act is dead. Passed the house and died on the vine.
