I live in a 2 bedroom and in the summer the highest it's ever been was $160 and lowest was in the winter $45 since I don't run the heater.

Mine gets combined with my natural gas bill.

The lowest I've seen it has been about $120 in the spring when I used neither my furnace or my AC, and the highest is about $350 one month last winter when we went a full month with daytime highs lower than -20C.

When I lived in an apartment, it usually ranged just $50-120 per month.

in a horribly insulated trailer, with electricity and heat combined, it ranged from something like $180-450/month depending on weather. (450 was like a one time event last winter, probably same month faramir had 350 (january)).

in an apartment now, it's more like $40-80. With a $50 rebate each month, my bill has actually been like $8/month for the last few months. I haven't lived through a winter yet though, not sure what difference that will make.

1BR apartment: electric is $50-70 when the weather is moderate, $90-120 when it's not.

they do a projection thing here, so for my 2 bedroom in Scotland I am being charged 60/month for gas, no variance. Which uh, I think is good considering the energy crisis? I've seen way worse on Reddit...there's meter readings you do so you can get charged more/less depending on that I think (still figuring that out)

I need to call someone about electric still...but gas I think was what more people were worried about with heating.

water is nationalised and free (and great tap water)

Water is free (other than the electricity to run the well pump). Propane cost about $425 to fill the tank this summer, and one tank usually lasts an entire year. Electric is 10 per kWh and we use about 45 to 105 kWh per day, depending on the weather, plus $30 service charge per month, plus taxes & fees.

Our place is unusual in that it's actually two houses joined together, with separate heating & cooling systems. One side uses propane heat, the other is electric. They have identical air conditioning units. One side has a traditional electric tank water heater, the other has a super efficient hybrid water heater.

My electric & natural gas combined costs $165 per month for 11 months, and usually around $250 one month out of the year because my electric company still hasn't figured out how to properly budget my electric. I am getting new windows installed on Tuesday, so it should go down quite a bit next time they re-budget me.

Conversely, my water bill is ridiculously cheap. Usually $20 every 3 months.
