I don't really have a dog in this fight because I play fighting games for the gameplay....but when Bridget first came out she was a boy raised as a girl because her village or whatever feared twins or something like that. I don't know if that makes her trans but I remember it just being a girly boy (aka femboy)

That doesnt make her trans.
She discovered that she is trans in the latest game.

Yep. Literally used an anti trans slur and Flaming in general should be modded, plus all the trolling posts baiting a reaction. Nothing at all. Oh right, most mods wouldn't even know or understand why sissy is a slur against trans women.

It's both but in the context of trans women, it's comparing us to well. Fetishist. Denigrating us by making us out to be sexual deviants and not actually women. You know, like what the far right mainstream political party in the US has been doing.

there arent a whole lot of ways to use the word sissy without being derogatory or insulting if the person isnt directly wanting to be called that

Anyway, the most recent thing I remember is Daisuke straight up saying Bridget is trans to clear up "the ending confusion" and then the response to that was that "he was pressured into it by wokists".

Her story is she was raised as a girl due to a myth that twin boys bring misfortune, so her parents raised her as a daughter. That and she does say she is a boy at times. Not sure what the accurate term would be.

First off, the man in charge of Guilty Gear literally said she is. There's no "technically" about it.

As was recently revealed in Strive, now that she's free of her village's superstition, she's had time to take a good long look at herself. Despite her village, despite her parents, despite her early days, she's has come to terms with herself as being a woman.

I always figured it made more sense. Made no sense to me why Bridget would continue to dress like a girl but get made when people thought they where a girl. Unless they just wanted to go with Bridget simply liked being effeminate and wearing girls clothes.

That was true in the earlier games.
And in the last game, she came out as trans.

ive never played guilty gear so i dont really know the lore
but what ive heard and feel free to correct me if my information is wrong because this is all second hand information that i never verified

but from what i hear bridget was born a boy but was raised as a girl
but eventually wanted to explore her masculine side. but after doing that she realized she really was a girl on the inside and came out as trans
