What I am arguing is that even with certain staples there is no hardcore proof that content is removed for the sake of DLC bait and even if you argue a third Legendary being removed for DLC that was basically just one character. There is no telling if thats even the case or how DLC will be handled which is a problem.

Maybe you are right, though to be fair online a lot of these things are easy to misunderstand and more so when there are going to be people that will be literal with it to begin with.

Sw/Sh never got a third game and the DLC definitely does not qualify as a third game.

yeah meant diamond and pearl but got sidetracked when i was typing it

As someone who has seen all the spoilers they cut a lot of shit out of this game, it's without a doubt their cheapest game since they moved to 3D The dex cut got even bigger

because no matter how much the pokemon fanbase complains about stuff they will always end up buying the games even for the sake of complaining about them more

Im going to start playing Violet tonight and see if its any good. The graphics are tame and the diamond gimmick is super lame, but the core mechanics is why I enjoy the series. As long as I can catch and the battle is the same gameplay Ive enjoyed since the beginning Im still going to play these games.

They certainly didnt get my money this console gen though.

And really the people who complain about video games tend to be on the small vocal minority side of those that buy games.

Its 50/50 really with again no hard proof to begin with. They can be right sure but again nothing proves anything here.

It's not 50/50. If someone with extensive knowledge of the games development put a gun to your head and asked "Do you believe that content that would make the game feel more complete was close enough to finished that it could have been included in the game, but was deliberately held off to be offered in DLC? Yes or no, any other answer is death." You would say yes.

In that case yes but again problem is PROVING it. Because guess what? Very few to little people online has the extensive knowledge of game development and we all on this website suffers from
some level of trying to seem smarter then the developers and somehow having inside knowledge of why things happen. Always is going to be a problem

Proof is entirely relevant because of the fact content and context of the argument exists in the first place and still doesnt change the fact that most people venting have no extensive knowledge of game development in the first place. Its speculation at it base and because we see these things as gamers we tend to exaggerate things.
