$12.24. i've had it on my wishlist for awhile. should i get it? i like clunky third-person RPGs like Dragon Age: Origins and Game of Thrones (Atlus). i can forgive some wonky controls or janky mechanics as long as it has some combination of good characters, good writing, and satisfying character/equipment progression.

It's okay. It wasn't as interesting once the game stopped being about you being an actual political power and considering what things should change or not. I think it could be better with an improved sequel.

they are working on sequel. they announced it back in May. i just remembered that cuz of your post.

knowing there's gonna be a sequel makes me want to buy it more. i think i might.

It seems to be a 75/100 game.

The writing and characters are probably the stand out material. More than worth it for that price. DLC included?

ah, that's a good question. looks like that's just for the base game, but there is a bundle with one DLC, i'm guessing a story content one, for $13.99. the other DLC which is an equipment pack isn't offered in a bundle though, but it is reduced to $2.00 by itself.

It was okay, the setting is pretty cool but I felt like the story came up a little short. Gameplay loop/combat is pretty repetitive and not all that interesting. If you liked dragon age you will probably like it.

7/10 game. Janky, rough round the edges but the theme and setting carries it. And it's fun. It's an action rpg though just fyi it ain't like dao in action

I thought the setting seemed interesting, a bit unique and been itching for a new open world game to try even if it's only AA level (not like Skyrim really hit it out of the park either). But then I dunno I always felt it might this one might be a little too dull after all. I feel like about 12 bucks it'd be worth it even if it is just the base game.

I'd snag it, it's a good price.

This is how I felt about it, but I will say that I find the color palette of everything being different shades of brown to be wildly unappealing.

Idk I liked the environments actually, though they could get repetitive

so yeah, i think i'm gonna buy it. might as well buy the DLC bundle. is the Adventurer's Gear DLC worth it for $2.00?

oh. yeah that's not really "free" technically, and i play on Steam anyway.

If feels like a mid-2000s Bioware RPG released a decade later. So if you like DA, you'll probably enjoy it.

I played a pretty healthy chunk of it but got distracted by another game and never got back into it.

Setting is dope but it and the story couldn't carry the utterly boring gameplay. But for $12 it's worth a try because it might be your cuppa tea even if it wasn't mine.

I just bought it a couple days ago. Really enjoying it so far. Love the setting. Hoping I don't burn out before finishing though.

fuck, i got it, and i'm trying to play it, but i can't because i am getting extreme stuttering every couple of seconds, and it won't go away no matter what i've tried. i googled "greedfall stuttering" and read up on some Steam threads about what people supposedly did to fix it, and nothing works. i've set the graphics settings to low, i've turned off cloth physics, i've turned on VSYNC, etc. etc., and the stuttering is still there. wtf.

It was on ps plus a whole ago and I can see why, game is terrible.
