I'm very pleasantly surprised and pleased so far with the AZ results.

But there's still time for it to go to shit here so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

On November 15th Trump will officially announce his presidential run. Him and his followers are fucking crazy. Insane and unpredictable.

There's a watchdog group that says as soon as Trump announces they're filing a lawsuit to disqualify him as he was involved in voter fraud schemes and the Jan 6 insurrection. Idk what will happen with that but at least someone is trying to do something since the DOJ apparently needs a million pieces of evidence before they indict him.

Sadly people have moved on, but hopefully some keep pressing.
It's crazy how much crazy stuff happens, that we kinda forget or have to pick which stuff to focus on these days.
I still remember all the covid fiasco, the finger pointing, denials, billions lost in a minute, and when i bring that stuff up, people go "oh yeah! I forgot all that happened" and we wonder why we blame everything happening at current figureheads...

Ah yes, like blaming Biden for the rampant inflation and not that one time the Fed injected $1,500,000,000,000 into the stock market over the course of half an hour to keep the rich people from panicking.

Thank you! Like, i know it wasn't just that, but we had to pay for that eventually. I was short a couple zeroes

Im somewhat disappointed but also uplifted by the Ohio senate results.

Vance won, that is unfortunate, but the election was much closer than any of the races that included the former incumbent candidate Rob Portman. 53/47. And being that close in a red state is at least something.

What was unfortunate though is how much outside help Vance received. The republican party dedicated a lot to Vance being elected. While the democrats did not really help Ryan.

Ryans campaign was pretty great too, I think it hits what Democrats should be doing in Red states. You dont campaign in Ohio the way you do in California.

Hochul vs Zeldin was too close for comfort for a New York election but luckily Hochul pulled through in the end. Would hate to see my state turn red. Almost everything else was about as expected here, though we may have lost a few seats in the house.

Im glad to see Arizona and Georgia leaning towards blue at the time of this post, but Im worried about Nevada leaning red.

I'm just glad Michigan was able to get a bare minimum done. I saw so many yard signs saying Prop 3 was "Too confusing, too extreme" I was a little concerned.

There's some speculation the DOJ will need a special counsel to investigate as it could look like the Biden administration going after political rivals.
