I only know Sing from that podcast he does with Andrew Schulz. He usually ruins the flow of their discussions, although not as bad as that train wreck of an ex-girlfriend whom Bobby Lee used to cohost his own show with.

That wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. There were a few cringy moments but he got some good laughs so he squeezed some juice out of the situation.

He is so mean

Pretty sad and insecure. And also kind of fascinating to see him immediately fall back on stereotypes as "comedy" when he feels cornered. Like yeah, keep insulting the Queen. As if every British person must worship the Queen. Oh, those insults didn't land? Like, at all? What a shocker.

He was pretty funny until he started raging. Happens to the best of us though.

Pretty terrible, guy was being polite and quiet. Why be an asshole and call him out?

Rogan unleashed a monster when he co-signed Schulz and all these adjacent "comedy" podcasts. Though to be fair, Schulz can be funny and is good at marketing. A lot of dead weight in this world however.

Regardless if the comedian is bad or not, I could not imagine going to a show just to act like a dickfuck. Why even bother going? If something is really that bad then I'd just leave.

maybe he has a social condition, maybe something's weighing on his mind, or maybe it's just as simple that he doesn't find the dude to be funny.

I think he's just staying for his date/boyfriend's sake, and would have left otherwise.

Not laughing is being a "dickfuck"?

It is unsettling when you're on stage and everyone is laughing except someone right in front of you. As a comedian you will often target someone who stands out. Working through that for 45 minutes, I could see being unnerved. But all the mean things this guy's saying onstage were trying to be funny, which is his job, and a lot of it worked. Not for everyone, obviously, but he accomplished what he wanted. If nobody was laughing then it would have been awful to keep going.

The British guy wasn't being a dick. He was just sitting there until he got called out for no reason and insulted by both comedians. The comedian who went on a rant actually had the audacity to question him about his sexual orientation, and then said he "didn't have to be nervous." Then when the guy said he wasn't nervous, basically defending himself and his date and their right to be at the venue, that was somehow the straw that broke the camel's back and made the comedian start insulting him.

Sad seeing Akaash is being a bad sport about this. I went to his comedy sets before and he was hysterical.

Like I said, sad to see him like this.

This guy won't go far if that's all it takes to set him off. And the whole not being very funny part too.

Crowds will eat him alive when they learn they can get a rise out of him.

What is it with comedians get upset or insulted when people don't laugh? It's happening more and more often these days, like Dave Chappelle zeroing in on his haters and ignoring his fans.

You'd think the people who make a living telling jokes and making fun of people would learn to take criticism.

True, but not Front Row seats. Maybe because I only go to well known Comedy shows and such, but often times Front Row seats are expensive and tend to sell really fast. I know that was the case when I went to one of Akaash Singh's show, all the front row seats were sold out and we were only able to buy seats near the back.

It's still a bad sport for Akaash to act this way though.

Seriously tho, coming to a comedy club and sitting in the front while being anti is welcoming this. Which, tbf, it's his date's fault if he dragged him to it and still sat front row. If he's not into live stand up, he probably wouldn't know this. Im not even a big fan of Akaash, I agree he kind of brings down Andrews Podcast a lot of the time. But, that wasn't that bad for a meltdown. If he leaned into it, props, cause his anger made it funny. Which, a big party of being a comedian is knowing when to lean into negative or usually unliked traits when it improves improv. You do what's funny, not what makes you look the best in front of a audience who doesn't care for the comedy anyway. The crowd loved it. And that's why he played into it. It's his job. Im neutral on this. Pretty sure he used the N word at the end tho. Which, I always feel never works.

Hes done the smart thing though of aligning himself with bigger comedians. It is possible to fail upwards, as seen with Brendan Schaub. For sure it happens in other industries too like pop music.

Akaash wouldn't be shit without Andrew Schulz.

Akash is a bit too try hard for my taste but the guy is co host to one of the biggest comedy podcasts and moves tickets. Also most people in that room are laughing. So obviously there are plenty of people who do think he is funny.
